When I first started playing poker, I fell in love with MTT's. Unfortunately I'm 20 years old, in college, and don't have time to play 14 hours a day.

So now cash games are basically the move....

I play on Carbon Poker, but would really love to get some kind of opportunity to leave the country and play on Stars.

I'm starting with 10NL and will move up once I figure out I'm beating it. It's also February, which means its CarbonOPS time and I'll definitely be hopping in every MTT I have time for.

Making this thread to keep track of my progress.

Played my first session today.





Had about 7 tables consistently for most of the session. I'll play 10NL this week and if I crush it, 25NL next week.

Had a few bad beats but still managed to win a few buy-ins overall.

I'd like to put in over 30k hands this month which should be do-able. At about 3100 as of now.


I have my first two exams of the semester coming up on Friday so not sure how many hands I'll put in until then. Will update this on Sunday night.

GL! I am leaving to Australia later this month for a year on a Work and Holiday visa. It can be done!

Update


Put in a quick 1100 hands before I go out tonight. Playing well, running well.



Gonna be putting in a lot of volume this weekend, as well as Carbon OPS tournaments on Sunday.
