Just played a session with the new beta software and it was nice, much easier to multitable. I'm up to $97.56.

How much volume can you put in on Cake poker ? Is their software good for sng ?

It's tough to get in good volume like on PS/FTP. I am not in a hurry and mostly play when im bored so it doesnt really bother me that much. A serious grinder is better off on PS/FTP. Like I said before, I'm just doing this for fun mostly, not to maximize my hourly etc. The current software is ok for sngs but it doesn't resize as small as PS/FTP do and it doesn't have tiling. The beta version has both and is much easier to multitable, but it's a little buggy. Also I dont like the way they do HHs and i find them hard to read while mutlitabling. The competition is a joke and overall its an ok site to play sngs at but there are a couple flaws that make them hard to recommend to a hardcore grinder.

I think RB is automatic, not sure though. I signed up through a RB site but I think if you just sign up and download it straight from the actual cakepoker website, you automatically get it. So just sign up from a good RB affiliate to be sure.

The layout is ok and imho better in the new beta version. The big problem with cake right now is the traffic and from what I've read the cash games above micro-stakes are really nitty.

Damn I ran horrible today, I'm down to $64.22. oh well

love the challenge! i am actually doing the same thing only turbo sngs though no cash. i have tried to tell people the turbos on cake are probably the best on the internet but nobody wants to try them out. oh well! what is your screen name maybe i will run into you.

I got kinda bored tonight and played a $33 KO MTT and a $22 KO MTT and I took 6th in the $33 for 160ish and had a couple knockouts. I'm disappointed in myself for not following the BR guidelines I set up.

Moving forward I am going to stick to the $5 sngs and mico mtts and hopefully grind it up even higher. I grind a lot on other sites, know good BRM etc so with $200+ there is really no way I can go broke which is nice

I'm pleased I was able to run $1.24 up to 200+ (currently I'm at $208.66). Heh, it would be so sweet to run this up to 1k+ from just $1.24. I'm confident I can do it, but for now the goal remains $500.

nah, usually i try to play as many 10 player sngs as possible. i have trouble playing too many shorthanded tables.

I four-tabled some six-max sngs (which I like never play on my regular sites) and they were really soft. I'm up to $246.49.

nice work! i have been contemplating what other sngs to mix in with the 10 man turbos but not quite sure which ones i want to play. i dont like to play fr and 6 max togther but i might have no choice. i might also mix in some cash just for rake race purposes. do you ever see the 20 or 30 man tourneys running?

Anyways I played some .10/.20 plo8 and played very tight, I won around $20. I am not an expert plo8 player by any stretch but everyone at the table was pretty bad. I did well by playing very tight (mostly playing nut-nut draws) and making good valuebets. The BR is up to $268.92.
