also here's how I threw my chips out the window in that 12k tourney if anyone's interested lol

(couldn't convert using cardrunners)

**edit- here's my thought process on this hand I wrote up in a recent thread>>>

So I had about 100 hands on this opponent he was playing pretty tagish and seemed to know what he's doing. Came in for a min raise and I flatted cause kt really isn't a hand I want to 3bet. Flop ran on qj3 2 hearts, I checked and he cbet. So at this point I'm thinking he can have a wide range on ax type hands, for any made hands I'm puting him on qx, jx, qj at best then possibly aa or kk (sets aren't out of the question either). He seemed like a fairly cautious player and I had a note on him "capable of a good fold" so I thought I can call and donk bluff nearly any brick card (this way even if he has jx or better I can set up the price for my draw). Also I thought a check raise would look too bluffy and I'd have to commit more $$ into the pot. So the 8 of hearts came and this seemed like a good card for me so I reevaluated and decided that I'd donk the turn and jam if I get called (also figured to still have 16% insurance). I did consider him having a flush but I feel like him being a pretty timid player he'd raise my donk bet with weak flushes (though he likely wouldn't be in here too light since his steal att is only 27%). He ponders for a bit then calls and at this point I'm thinking he could very likely have a flush but he would have probably played jx qx the same and if lets say hes on aa or kk I still think he's capable of folding. So I end up jamming the riv after he calls turn and when I see the snap I'm already shaking my head lol.

I can see it now, HoldEmSapiens sitting at home punching his pelvis to non-flattering photos of MK. Crying "You look better as Meg from family guy!" Looping the lesbo scene from Black Swan.

Seriously, why are you so Anti-Mila?

Maybe you should take my opinion with a pinch of salt, because I just moved up from 5NL, but still like comment on this

I think I recognize the ranges from MSS, and my first reaction to the EP range is that I am always a little hesitant to raise things like QJ and KJ. Maybe it's me, but I really dislike playing these OOP as a standard.

In MP range I actually like add A2s-A5s instead off A9s-A5s. It will give you more a little more draw equity and makes it easier to play.

Off course, this is all in a vacuum, and actual ranges will change drasticly depending on players/dynamics as you said

yea i feel the same way i only raise those more speculative type hands when I see there are nits in the blind or huge fish but in general I prefer a tighter ep/mp range too

this is a quick mockup I made of my defending range from the blinds. lot of middle strength suited type hands are both hand I might flat or 3bet. I was told this is pretty tight, thoughts?
