These arguments have been going on for years on expat forums, and most find it gay or bi. It's mainly just the ones who use LB's who don't think of it as gay or bi. It's called denial!

and some of those that argue the loudest on forums 'wow that's definitely gay, i'd never do that' etc. likely have homophobic tendencies

Although most expats are probably over 40, the sites are full of tourists of all ages.

wait, you do realise i mention 40+ because theyre often stuck in ignorance from their older viewpoints and ****ty labels right? And tend to be less liberal than younger people in general(aka expats on this forum are prob way younger on average than an expat forum). So theyre more likely to go "ladyboys, gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay" without actually thinking about it sliightly more. And ofc it has relevance lol im sure youve heard of people saying "oh forgive my nan for being racist, she just grew up in a different time to us"

maybe 40 was too young of an age to post though. prob should of been higher

huh, do you seriously believe the average older generation has the same viewpoints towards people/labels than the average younger person? Even in a time when they would of been born when being gay was illegal in the uk (which will often breed illogical/ignorant thoughts towards such a topic)?

I agree to drop this. Although I'd like to point out , AGAIN, that I have never labelled anyone as gay. Just a sex act. You guys are making a straw man argument.

Ageism. Only one guy I see in the travel threads keep mentioning age. And it's always negatively. There are countries and religions that appear a bit homophobic / sexist/ racist/ whatever. I don't really see it as an age thing. Bizarre to suggest that people born when homosexuality was illegal, would all be homophobic, and be homophobic forever
