I've got an account on Bovada aswell but never played cause i feel playing hudless vs anonyms people is just -EV , I think developing reads vs fish/regs is going to be one of the most important things to improve your winrate massive so i can't see a reason for choosing to play without a hud.

From where I'm sitting it's a bit of a flip - I can go Party w their rakeback and the cash leaderboards (easy enough to gain 10+ buy-ins a week) but play hudless, or try 888/Ipoker/what ever (Don't really fancy Stars due to no rakeback / tough field ?)

All that being said, I'm probably seriously overthinking this - all I'm going to do is play plo2/5, better use of time would be to go and grind instead of posting here lol

I'd stick to Party Poker w rakeback + cash leaderboard. They atleast don't use anonymous tables like Bovada, so hudless on Party Poker is fine imo cause you'll still be able to pick up quality reads when you know all the people you're playing against. You could/should also be playing on 888/Ipoker to get decent amount of tables going and you'll be able to pick and choose what tables are +EV to play on and not rather than just play on Party Poker and you'll have to play on the 4tables that are currently running on the stake you're playing.

I usually play on a swedish site called "Svenska Spel" where all tables are 200bb deep so i'm not quite sure how to convert it to "normal" tables since our currency has plummeted aswell (thx government), but it's higher than this stake for sure lol

I got a pretty high VPIP/PRF (like 42/28) due to playing on tables with 2-3 people or having to open up tables myself, so most of my hands are from short tables. My "normal" VPIP/PRF is more like 32/24 and 3b around 8-10% depending on what kind of people are on my tables.

Since i'm already playing PLO50 i'm going to rephrase your question to PLO100 and this is my strategy:

$5PLO to $10PLO:Grind in 20 BI ($100) at $5PLO and build the roll to 50+10 BI ($350) for a shot at $10PLO.
$10PLO to $25PLO:Grind in 40 BI ($400) at $10PLO and build the roll to 50+10 BI ($750) for a shot at $25PLO.
$25PLO to $50PLO:Grind in 40 BI ($1000) at $25PLO and build the roll to 50+10 BI ($1750) for a shot at $50PLO.
$50PLO to $100PLO:Grind in 35 BI ($1750) at $50PLO and build the roll to 50+10 BI ($3500) for a shot at $100PLO.

Had a funny conversation yesterday with a irl friend that ended in a $10k prop bet.
The deal is making any student that plays >PLO50 with 4 weeks of coaching the biggest winner, the amount of students doesen't matter since we can only choose one of them (the biggest winner) . So i've put togheter a 4 week crash course of :

8x recorded sessions (two each week). The student will record himself playing and i'll review it and leave comments, i'll give homework in form of videos to watch on whatever leak i'll find (3b pots,blind plays, OOP play etc)

4x Vision work (One each week) ( We'll review trouble hands in Vision and talk about different strategies)

"24/7" Service. ( I need beauty sleep lol ) Send me handhistorys that you felt you played poorly or just diden't know how to play em.

We discussed whether we should do this for free or for a fee, and settle on $100 for all 4 weeks on which all money will be donated to a charity of our choice ( Save the children)

Subbed. Not so many threads about PLO. I have been playing PLO for about 5 years with like 30 days/year average Usually quitting after get a few bad run days. Currently playing for over month on party PLO10. So will be nice to follow you on this challenge and maybe I won't quit this time so soon. Good luck.

So far 6 people have jumped on the deal, and i'll sweeten the deal a bit for the community (my karma account must be overfull by now lol)

Have you clarified the sample size the bet is based on? A student could join a table, double up on the first hand and then sit out for the rest of the bet and have a win rate nobody else can realistically beat.

Or was winnings $ based?

We've got a few details left but all in all the bet will look like this:

1. We each gets to teach x numbers of student for 4 weeks.
2. After those 4 weeks are done, the bet will begin with our students battling out for 4 weeks, we'll settle the battleground on PLO25, the student with the higest earnings(Dollar not winrate) after 15k hands wins.
3. We'll send all the hand to our third party friend that currently holds all $$$, after he's given a green light on no faul play, the winner will recive the money.

Yea they can play on their regular site or whatever site they want.
Obv it’s a bit of an edge playing on smaller sites with lots of fishes vs pokerstar with nitregs, but we both got students playing on pretty much all networks so it evens out.
