At the "a" gear exchange rate that is correct, but you can exchange at the lower rates 3x a month as well.

So 60,000 for $2,700 @ 45% (90%) cause of points, + 45,000 for $1,800 @ 40% (80%), and 30,000 for $1,050 @ 35% (70%). That's $5,500 for 135,000 points or $6,750 in rake paid (assuming you're hitting 200 games everyday you play) that's 81% RB, +13.3% for overdrive bonus or 94% monthly.

And as I said, any rake paid over $6,750 monthly you just hold onto the points a grind a diff skin for a month every 3-4 months. Also, don't forget the $8,000 "A" gear Freeroll that gets a dozen players on average every month worth another ~$666 if you have no edge, which puts you over 100% RB.

Blake, do you think waiting 4-6 months in obtaining the rake level for the enormous rake back is a good idea over LOCK?

Well playing $10-36 it would be 2-3 months not 4-6, and at the end of that time you would have an assload of points to exchange and could play on a diff skin for 2 months.

Another solid volume day, just going to try to keep them coming, not sure if I'll really get 600 games or so tomorrow, just going to keep making sure I do my 400 minimum and if I feel up to it, add more. Got some good strategy discussions in today as well as a couple of sweats, coaching etc.

Spent about 2 hours talking to reps from another skin, no real luck there as most merge skins aren't doing any under the table deals at all anymore. We'll see what winds up happening, not as pissed at lock as I was a few days ago, but would still like to move but really not looking to take a pay cut either ... we'll see.

I would think a guy that could grind like you would be great for RPM. Once you get to A gear you could switch skins again. spend a day or two each month grinding the 500 point SNG on RPM. You'd just have to play around 120 of them assuming you'd be 1st or 2nd 33% or the time(of course as a winning player like yourself this % would be higher) and would have an extra $2700 in your pocket each month from the points exchange on RPM. Easy money haha. Just a heck of a grind to rake $30k to get to A gear.

Yeah I wouldn't even bother playing the VIP point games if I was on RPM though. The issue with RPM is getting to "A" gear. You get **** for RB in the mean time and merge has denied my request passed on by Seth to give me the old 35% RB on my account.

Basically, I may start playing on there some when I have no desire to ship the LB, have a busy month with other commitments, or have the leader board Locke up, just because in the long run, it would be more +EV to grind there. And obviously I could grind to "A" and not spend any of my points accrued until then, and then have 600k points to redeem worth ~$25k.

In the mean time I'm more concerned with earning a consistent income though.

Tough to say at this point as sample size is still small, especially @ $35s and $50s. However, since starting with my backer on Lock, I have played 212.4 hours and earned $11,329 including all RB, SNG LB, and the money I've actually gotten out of the Lock Casino.

That puts me at an hourly of $55.34 before profit split with my backer. However, through November I was only playing up to $20.90 games, added $35s for about half of my December, and just added $52s. I also bombed November and heatered December so it's really hard to say.

I would estimate though that I am a breakeven player pre-RB (possibly 0.5% ROI winner) which puts my hourly with the current stakes at ~$65 per hour in straight RB if I do not include SNG LB or Lock Casino money. With those two added in, it should be closer to $90 hourly long term.

My personal hourly I can't discuss as I am not allowed to divulge the details of my specific deal with my backer. All I will say is that it is NOT 50/50...

I really like the recent announcement by rizen in the lock forum about checks only taking 2-3 weeks starting February 1st on the casino side as well as bank wires up to 9900. Would rpm have the same stuff that rizen is talking about?

The thing is how do u rake 30,000 at rpm in a month, you'd have to play 15,000 games at the 52s since the rake is 2.00 and they don't even run like the 30s, is your plan just to grind a different skin for a month to catch up on collecting all your rakeback?

Unlike Locks VIP system, RPM's VIP system is based on lifetime rake. You don't have to take $30,000 in a month. And no, RPM doesn't have the casino stuff.

For the record, I'm not planning on moving to RPM, going to weather the storm on Lock for now and continue to pursue other options.

No, but they have a point decay system set up, you lose a set amount of accured points after 60 days if you have played no volume, aside from that, VIP level is strictly based on lifetime points earned.

Stop looking at $ results IMO it looks so much worse to me then 40 buy in's. Also run better FFS and on the + side at least your redline is nice and stable.

I am sure you will make some of it back today if not all. Variance is such a pain in the butt but not much we can do about it. This advice I gave above just maid me realize I need to do the same lol.

Nice swingy day today, whatever though, can't run good forever I guess. Doing the short and sweet version with mini-graph today as some people are curious about what ratio of games run. I'll tell you I rarely load $5s, and frequently only load half or less of the $10s that go off if $20s-$52s are loading quickly. I haven't skipped a $20 or $35 in the 27.5 hours I've played this month.



Decent volume considering I had a ~$23.26 ABI on the day (played 572 games I think).

Looking to mirror that volume tomorrow as well.

My leaderboard performance on the day basically sucked ass as I had a ton of 4th-6th place finishes, basically was flipping terribly @ 50/100 and 100/200. Only earned 18,000 base points on the day which is terribly low for the volume I put in, but since it's based on finish position, makes perfect sense.

Anyways, taking the rest of the night to relax some. Will be back on the grind tomorrow looking for 500+ games again.

Hit a new high of rake generated in a day today with $586 rake paid. Looking forward to more of those days in the future.
