Sup all!
I'm AnotherBiscuit and i'm going to start a little blog here sharing my poker adventures and more.

This year has been really great ive moved from nl50 to nl200.
Things can move really fast with poker you just never know,
hopefully at the end of the year i've made allot of progress.

Last month however was my worst one of the year so far.
It made me have to jump back to nl100 just to experience what a winning session feels like ^^
My short term goal is to get all my volume at 200 again.

Alright think we've heard enough here,
ill just share my graph and then i'm off to the grind!

This year so far:

Adiooooosss

Yesterdays sessions was ok, played a little of 200 but not too much.

A few things i was not happy with:
- I played too passive opting for the lower variance option too much,
neglecting the higher variance but more +EV options.
This is probably due to my recent bad run. I need to shake this off.
- I payed off too many hands in spots where regs are not bluffing enough
Just bad.
- I engaged too much in distractions (skype etc) during my sessions.
Not good, i need to practice single tasking and do skype etc in breaks.

Today's plan:
- Don't make the mistakes i did yday
- Play solid en focused

Spoiler:
My new favorite grind track:

Cheers!

@inrenokid thx! I will thx for reminding me : )

Todays results:

So did i make the same mistakes as yday ?
meh not quite 100% fixed.
I did play more aggro preflop for sure but not quite at the level as i would like yet.
Still need to pull the trigger a bit more.
The distractions thing went very well tho, focused only on the tables.

What id like to improve:
- Play a little more aggro preflop and postflop,
Still taking too many passive options.

Some hands:

    MP: $217 (108.5 bb)

    Hero (BTN): $275.49 (137.7 bb)
    SB: $179.50 (89.8 bb)
    BB: $131 (65.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 8 7
MP raises to $5, CO folds, Hero calls $5, SB folds, BB calls $3

    Flop: ($16) A 9 Q (3 players)
BB checks, MP bets $6.58, Hero calls $6.58, BB folds

    Turn: ($29.16) 8 (2 players)
MP bets $20.06, Hero calls $20.06

    Final Board: A 9 Q 8 5
    MP showed T Q and won $66.53 ($34.89 net)
Hero mucked 8 7 and lost (-$31.64 net)

This one i think i can just raise flop here and rep strong hands,
esp v this size i don't think mp will bet w strong hands when BB is a weaker player.
Not happy how i played this, and this is what i mean by playing too passively.

      Hero showed 8 8 and won $127.93 ($63.59 net)

This one was nice, i don't think hes repping much at all with this size as well.

        Hero showed J K and won $152.25 ($86.25 net)
MP showed 9 8 and lost (-$66 net)

Here i was trying to make MP bet turn but i think its a mistake and he's just going to checkback way too much. Betting is just much more +EV

Another day tomorrow! Might play some SM satellites : )

        Small update:

        Yday results:

Not a good day for me, not much to say out it.
I was tired and not focussend but decided to grind anyways.
Never a good decision. And ended up badly once again.

Money wise not too bad of a losing day but when you know you made some mistakes you should not it strings a little more.
Better avoid this mistake in the future at all cost!

This was a bit gross when i have a read on him that he donks value potsized.
Tho i don't think i can just checkback turn and give free equity.
Probably just a cooler. He could also has some weaker Ax like AJ/AT like this.

Bit up and down last few days.
Almost back to 200 100% of my volume

Fixed my preflop issues its much much better now.
Still hard for me to focus 1.5hr into a session, so i usually quit after that.
Its sometimes hard to quit esp when you have good tables and are down.
But i just gotta do it when my focus drops, perhaps i could try a quick 5 min break, Walk away from the screen and take a quick snack.
Im going to try this tomorrow!

It will be about getting better as well, ive been putting hours studying and i think that will pay off this month.
Volume wise i won't set goals, ill just try to play as much as possible.
