Decided to book a win and get 90 minutes more sleep before work. These 4am starts are killer! But dope because the fish spew moneys. Thinking about playing from 12-3am in future because at 6am it starts to dry up a bit.

Will post hands later.

Good session!

pd: Don't bluff shortstacks

Amen to that.

Hands from today's morning session!

Hated calling here so so much being deep. If the dude didn't seem fishy over the 6 hand sample, wasn't playing on a mobile device, and didn't reek of fishiness, I could probably have folded.

      River: ($4.75) K (2 players)
Hero bets $3.31, BTN raises to $8.22 and is all-in, Hero calls $4.84 and is all-in

Hate this river raise so ****ing much but capped villain to not having JJ or KK pre since he had 14% 3bet.

And the fact he showed AK here is worrying because that means it's possible he has hands like JJ and KK in his flatting range. But man seriously wtf is he doing raising the river vs an uncapped range lol...

        x is fine here imo.

        Turn: ($4) K (3 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $2.59, BTN folds, Hero calls $2.59

Should have x/r'd here since getting value on river is going to be tough. Obv had to check quads once, lol. But I think I like leading turn for value tbh. Just saw quads and decided it'd be unethical to bet.

        River: ($9.18) A (2 players)
        Hero checks, MP checks

MP mucked J A and lost (-$3.89 net)

As played, if I raised turn I wasn't getting called often anyway. Leading river seems ******ed but probably better than checking.

          Flop: ($2.10) T Q 5 (2 players)

On the flop I have 43% equity vs overpair here. When villain bets pot, 1) I'm not getting immediate pot odds to justify calling and 2) I can expect another PSB on the turn. So my question is, how do I realise my equity here. I think folding is an option but seems really nitty. Calling seems bad because I have to fold turn and won't get to see my two streets needed to realise that 43% equity. Shoving turns my hand face up, so I decided to raise in an attempt to get some fold equity from random hands. It's unlikely villain bets pot and checks turn; I mean this bet sizing looks like a set or overpair all day everyday so I don't expect many folds when I raise but a flop raise, turn jam may get some folds from made hands that aren't exactly as strong as overpairs here. My thoughts:

Raise flop > jam flop > call flop > fold flop

SB bets $2, Hero raises to $6.38, SB raises to $8.65 and is all-in, Hero calls $2.27

          Thoughts on this one?

A5s: I don't see him having here KK by the river. I would not be happy about his raise, but we have to be good here ~24% of the time to BE. And as in nano stakes happens lot of weird stuff, call seems the best option, but it's close, would not hate fold either.

KK: I like how you played, but I think that river donk would be the most +EV option. He's still x back with all his range on river, and I don't see him calling your xr on turn with anything(except with rare 22/33).

89s: As played, it's the best play IMO and it's not even close.

KTs: I don't think that we can fold here. Might as well fold turn then. I think that bet flop, check turn is better option, than x-c-f. Though I'm not sure which is better option in these spots b-x-x/f or x-c-c.
            11-27-2014 , 02:58 AM
Yeah it's an EZ call for A5s hand but still pretty gross seeing the riv raise lol. As bizarre as it seems, leading riv with KK does seem like best line now that you mention it. 89ss cool, I'm glad. Usually end up miss playing my combos but I like how I played this one. Actually think KT hand is a cbet tbh since we can get called by worse Tx and Broadway draws.

What do you think about A92 board if we're holding K9? I think that cbet is fine as well, TT-JJ might fold.

I don't expect TT-JJ to fold to one bet on A92. But given SB prob don't have many aces in their range and we're uncapped, could be a good spot to double/triple. But wouldn't do it vs an unk at 10z. I'd cbet flop and if called check turn and decide river based on size.

why are you looking at 3bet after only 44 hands? 14% means nothing on that sample.

I'm sorry, I read exactly that you said "6 times in 44 hands"
            11-27-2014 , 08:14 AM
Let me explain you. Let's take 10% 3bet over 1000 hands. It is possible that this player did 3bet only once (1) and it is possible that he did 3bet 10 times.

Preflop 3bet menas the number(%) of times he did raise initial raise. So, to be able to 3bet there needs to be initial raiser in front of him. If in 1000 hands he faced raise in front of him 10 times, 10% 3bet = exactly 1 time. If in 1000 hands he faced raise in front of him 100 times then 10% 3bet = exactly 10 times.

            Hope it helps.

I think it's not that relevant for the hand anyway. Waiting an hour or two more for the pool to heat up and then will be smashing 2-3k hands hopefully.

Should be an easy fold to the min-raise here. At the time I was tired af and wrote it off as, oh he could be doing this with A9 or two hearts. So there was at least $13 in spew calling this past session. Need to cut it out and be more disciplined. Plain and simple.
                            11-28-2014 , 02:13 AM
JJ: I'm never folding here, seen having weak players tons of other stuff as well with this line on this board. Actually re-raising flop.

AQ: I'm usually isolating with this kind of hand if there are regs behind me. I would like to raise flop, I've seen V's donking here with all kinds of weird draws, weak Ax, air, rarely he has strong hand as set. River though is a fold, don't see him bluffing here often enaugh to justify a call, played way too weak so far and now he just bombs.

Anyway an interesting hand, would like to hear other people thoughts on this.

J7: If he's a reg, most important here is how he might see you.

I think you played this hand fine here, if he sees you as a standart reg without much notes on you.

TT: I don't like the call at all here with mid-PP here OOP. Get it in of fold.

You're burning bb's with this play. IP call is fine.

KQ: Call here is fine on river.

QQ: Depends what kind of reg.

AK: I don't like call here, this T could have helped him a lot.

AK2: I think that betting smaller would also accomplish the same.

and bp99: did you realize small blind has only 60% pot left in the last hand?
the thing is, you want him to fold pairs, since you beat everything else.

Good point actually. I don't think calling down with A high is great so I guess I was looking to fist some sorta underpair.

Okay so today is Saturday meaning I should have a pretty large player pool to work with all day. I've got 1.6k hands left to play to reach my volume goal for the week but I'd like to see myself play at least 3k-5k hands today.

Doom switched this heater pretty bad lol. Up 6 buyins in 1k hands and unfortunately finished just above even. EV for this week is shocking. Have some really dope hands to post today as well. Also, the player pool today was really small, not as I expected. Since I've only played 2.5k hands, I'm planning on staying up tonight and seshing when the fish are online.

Stay tuned for some hand porn!
