Hey guys I play on Stars under the name dacaptnkid. I am a College student looking to get my volume up and get a bit more serious about building up my roll, the right way... I am going to play the 6.50 18 man turbo sngs to start. My short term goal is to make $1000 in a month. The deadline for this is October 23. I will keep updating my progress. I am about to start my first session. Let me know what you guys think. Also, if you have any suggestions or advice I would appreciate it. Thanks and good luck. Dacaptnkid.

Do you have a picture of captain planet by any chance? Your name sounds very familiar to me, I play at the 6.50 18s at the moment under ben1113.

Played 31 games today and ran absolutely horrible. All things considered I am happy to only be down $4.60 on the day. Was mostly playing 6 tables at a time using the tile feature on Stars. I think the cascade might be a better option though... for this to work I am going to need to be able to play more than 6 tables at once.

I started my challenge yesterday with $210. That gives me ~32 buy ins. I think this is sufficient. If I were to play the $16 or $27 18 man sngs I would definitely want a larger roll. However, I feel the $6.50 is fairly soft in comparison and am a bit more confident playing at this level.

my friend "Vissihaus" had a similar challenge once, 1K in the 6.5$ 18 man in 10 days,,he finished it in 3 or 4 days i think, pretty sick volume though, GL
