Hi 2+2

I'm 24 years old from Warrington England

I'm a long time lurker of 2+2 and have decided I'd like to get involved in the PG&C Forum to help me with my grind

I've been a recreational slightly profitable MTT player for about 3 years but after reading through alot of the threads in this forum and doing some reading and studying I've decided I would like to give 6 max cash games a try and take it a bit more seriously than I took the last few years playing MTTs

I've deposited £100/$154 on Pokerstars and will be starting by 4 tabling 5NL. I'll be adding tables as I become more comfortable

I work alot as I own my own company so I wont be putting as many hands in as some but I'll be trying to put in about 6000 hands a week.

I'll be moving up as/if the following goals are reached

10NL at $300
25NL at $800
50NL at $1750

But these aren't set in stone if I feel I'm not ready I wont move up or if I randomly become a shark I'll move up quicker

I'll be posting graphs after every day I have played aswell as HH's

I'll also post my stats, positional stats etc when I have a reasonable sample size to see if anyone can spot and help me with my leaks

I'll be using this thread to keep me in check, keep me motivated, and for the support that seems to come with starting a PG&C thread

Will probably need technical help with my comp and HEM from time to time aswell as I'm a massive technophobe. clueless!

Not afraid of advice or criticism so feel free to tell me how it is

Cheers

Wanted to add some threadsavers but posting rules says:

"You may not post attachments"

Anybody know how I change this or is just because I'm new?

Just done my first ever cash session

It was only small just something to get me started and used to playing 5NL

Here's my graph so far

Not much to look at really because of the tiny sample size but I just wanted to post a graph

Just put another small session in.

So here's my graph for today which is basically my life graph for cash games other than a few random hands I've played in the past.

Not much to see really. Happier with my play in the first small session. Tried adding as many tables as I could in the second session just to see what I could cope with, felt like my head was going to explode at about 11 tables and felt most comfortable at 6 tables. Huge respect for mass multi-tablers!

Hopefully get more hands in tomorrow

Tried to keep track of a few hands to share:

This one villain was aggro and quite spewy was thinking I was ahead until his wild river bet which completely caught me off guard

In this next one I didn't have much history with villain, think the line I took was just completely wrong for the whole hand, thoughts?

Hi guys just updated my HUD, before today I've been using a very basic setup vpip/pfr/cbet/call open or something like that

But thought it would be easier for multi-tabling to add a few more things

Let me know what you think of the setup I'm thinking of going to below whether there's things I need to add or remove

      Cheers

Honestly dude you have no need to have all those stats on display in your HUD, you will get very confused very quickly and unless you have a lot of hands on someone then some of them are going to be irrelevant and the last thing you want to do in the heat of the moment is check someones fold to 3bet stats when you only have 10 hands on them and read too much in to it.

Ive gone both ways, ive had lots of stats, like 20+ at one point, but now i like to keep it simple and have some simple pop ups for the rest of the stuff that i use. Honestly i would go with something like Vpip/PFR/3bet then Flop cbet/turn cbet/fold to cbet and remembering that even turn cbet and fold to flop cbet are not going to be that useful till you get a number of hands on villains.

The main ones are vpip/Pfr where after 10 or 20 hands you will be able to tell who is a fish and who isnt.

On the hands you posted in the AT hand i think i would just bet the flop even though villain is kinda spewy, we will pick up decent cards on the turn to bet occasionally.

The 66 hand i hate. Im leaning towards folding the flop, i cant see the point of calling or raising an overbet when i havnt invested that much in the pot anyway. I think you just invite variance on to yourself by doing it. Just keep it simple.

      Thanks for the input

66 hand I hate aswell just got myself in a complete mess

Yeah I just did my first session with the new HUD setup and it was far too much, going to go back to my simple HUD and just use the popup for extra stats if I need to.

      Cheers

Just finished another small session nothing of note really happened

Was really pleased with this hand though

      Villain was 30/21 and 12% 3-bet over 211 hands

My pre raise is questionable but I was running at 12/12 (huge nit) so wanted to open up a little bit

I made the c-bet knowing villain would 3-bet that flop

Here's my overall graph since the challenge started

Not sure how many hands I'm gonna manage to get in over the next week as its my birthday Tuesday so tonight I'll be getting drunk and probably be too much of a mess to play tomorrow and same next weekend. Hopefully I'll manage a few hands through the week. Would like to get to 10,000 hands asap so I can post my stats and see if anybody can spot and help me with any of the leaks I've probably got

Played yesterday and today and played and ran horribly

No graphs because I played on a different computer, but basically after a good start to the challenge grinding my bankroll up from $154 to $184 in 2 days it's now down to $132.

Will put in another session tonight on my usual computer hopefully I'll go back to playing my A game

        Here's my overall graph

It's missing 3500 hands I put in this morning on a different computer but that's probably a good thing as I ended up down about $40.

Released a $10 Stella award so my BR is at $144 now $10 below where it started
