I'm rubbish at poker. I'm a lifetime loser from actual hands but with bonuses and rakeback I'm about $300 up as a lot of that loss was from zoom. I'm still playing from my original deposit so basically freerolling.

Plan is simple. Don't play zoom. Play 3 tables or less of NL10 so I pay attention. Play for 1 hour or less at a time then post hands in here and analyse trickiest hands. Learn how to not suck so much.

[] Don't play zoom
[] Post hands for each hour of play
[] Break even and at least stop the downswing

Here I had no idea. Raised flop donk as felt could get calls from Kx, Qx 2x or FD. When he 3bets small I think its FD perhaps with pair, 2 pair or sets. If I shove only what beats me continues. Called hoping to get to showdown using my position. Turn x as planned. When he effectively shoves the river my plan is to fold.

Good session yesterday, only got an hour in but a nice couple of wins. BR now at $337 as cleared a bonus and won a tourney with a dollar I found on Full Tilt.

Only big winner was super standard. Other than that got a lot of Cbet wins and PFR wins so looked good for redline but was just luck not my better play. Got a couple of barrels through as well. Its amazing how easy the game feels when your running good.

I'll do my giraffes later. Quick session yesterday again. All was standard though I'm still running pretty hot. Not really in hitting big hands but more in other people not hitting against me. No coolers going against me. My win rate is about half that and half the resultant A game I'm playing without the tilt issues of constant coolers.

One hand I think I may have played poorly was below. Called flop raise only as he had raised 3/3 flop cbets and was planning to call down. Thought he might bet again so checked turn. Check check so led on the river for value. When he raises I think boat or nothing. Think call is totally fine but not sure if should have raised it. Or would you have fired into the flop raise and played it fast to GII?

Here is the giraffe up to my last break. I've done this broadly twice more before I had PT4. Start at NL2, win slowly, then learn and grow BR (10bb/100), then more to NL5 and crush (10bb/100) then move to NL10 and struggle. Bounce up and down for a bit then either get boned by variance (in this case) or my lack of skill (the last two times) and eventually get back to breakeven and quit.

Bad first session today. Not hitting any cards at all and up against loads of stations so need to hit the cards to get anything. Got one good win with AA on a low flop vs flush draw. Other than that its suck out after suck out against me. No problem as I have been running hot but its hurting a bit.

This one I think is correct? Pre is fine, flop I call as want FDs and PP's to keep firing. Turn I then call as planned. River completes high FD and 5 high straight with any ace. bet looks like trying to offer me a price. Maybe I should call for thay price?

Really bad session overall. Losses overall are far from catastophic and I have been unlucky with flops and runouts but the sharpness of my downward redline suggests that I've been missing spots to bluff/ take pots down.

Whats pleasing is that I didn't tilt it all off. I carried on playing my C game at least rather than dropping into my awful D/E game.

What worrying is that I got downbeat so quickly. I was basically expecting to lose every hand. Playing these stations who never folded anything just meant I was waiting for cards. When they didn't come in the first 250 hands I started calling more to try and hit them. The redline effect was awful. -$30 NSD in 500 hands. A bad day at the office. I think partially down to not being in great starting mood. I need to not play if I'm not 100% up for it.

Just spent my lunch hour going back over those sessions yesterday. I know I folded too much as my WSD is over 80% and WTSD only 18%. I. really couldn't have called much more though I think. Maybe some bluffs could have been run but I really hit nothing. Its not so much the sets/flushdraws I was missing its more the Top or middle pair or good draw flops I missed. I was just airshotting everything. When I tried to attack it was called off.

I think I need to adjust my mindset as now I assume I will be playing poker and valuebetting fish but actually if you are getting cold cards you can't value bet.

Shake it off and go again tonight. That huge down slope will be a reminder of how badly I played. This must be a positive impact I.e. don't do it again if can help it. If it becomes too tilting I may take some additional notes and erase the session to stop me seeing it.

Yesterdays card weakness snapped back today and I started hitting every card going. I even sucked out KK>AA preflop all in and won a AK vs 99 flip to add to my winnings. Good cards held up and bad cards drew out. Easy game.

Really happy with how I played though outside of those big wins. I also cleared up a lot of small pots, put myself in some challenging places and concentrated really well.

Only one had that was really interesting:

Raise is standard. When he donks I thought about raising but thought I'd call awith intention of calling turn bet. Plan succeeds but then the river completes a lot of draws/ two pair type hands and I couldn't think of much that would pot it after I raised UTG then called 2 streets that I beat He was aggro but I figured a fold was ok?

Average first session with a really good start where I was playing great, running over the table and forcing lots of mistakes. Then I lost it all up against one fish who hit everything against me, trips vs top 2, TP vs second pair and then eventually rivered boat for a split when I had better 2 pair and him committed. He was 80/10 calling 80% flop and 100% turn and river but I just couldn't beat him. No biggie I though I'll stay in but then someone else stacked him and the table broke up as everyone was just there to take his stack. Cost me a full BI in the end as his T4o's etc kept outdrawing me.

Not sure if I feel bad about this or if it was OK. On balance I think I was making the bets for bad reasons as I was pissed off in the end but I'm not sure what else I could have done. I needed to try and get the monies before he gave them to someone else.

And here it is! Whoop whoop. $20 down in an hour. Only ahead now as above EV and a bonus. Man I am dog shizzle.

Big hands of the day all lost. Lots of medium pots lost as nothing hits. Increasingly I believe aggressive poker is a mistake at NL10. No-one ever folds and if you have no cards then you lose. Play your value hands fast of course but ultimately if you don't have any then just give up.

Here I was calling the donk to keep Kx firing. I checked behind on the turn as now there was a couple of sets in his range planning to call bet on river for AK, KQ etc hands.

Gotta lose them monies.

River: ($5.05, 2 players) 9
Hero checks, BTN checks

Hero shows A A (One Pair, Aces) (Pre 80%, Flop 75%, Turn 27%)
BTN shows T Q (Two Pair, Queens and Tens) (Pre 20%, Flop 25%, Turn 73%)
BTN wins $4.82

Here I am playing aggresively with the draw. When he calls the turn it puts a lot of FD's into his range so bet again expecting to be able to extract value if hit/barrel non heart river. River is then a clear check fold for me.

Back in, played well. Won back a BI. Then set over setted. Should have folded though as got raised by passive player on the river.

Standard baluga theorem
