What's up 2+2,
Starting a thread for general accountability + blogging purposes.
I'm a student who has played mostly casually for 2ish years.
In short, I want to take the game more seriously, get good and move out of the micro's.
To elaborate, I'm interested in the feasibility of improving/moving up/finding some level of 'success' in online poker (as a side grind) amid the contemporary environment. Without sounding overly cliche, effectively asking + exploring the question 'Is the [online] dream still alive?'.
Constructing a strong mental game is high up on my priorities, along with the more banal focus on strategy and theory.
Starting out playing nl10-25 on Pokerstars/GG with $300, following somewhere around the 20 buy-in bankroll management mark for now.
Feb Goals- Play 5k hands at nl10z
- Make progress with study (complete Overnight Monster course + strategy development stuff)
- Make progress with mental game (uninstall prominent 'detrimental mental program/s')
- Develop blueprint (general approach to the game)
- Update this a few times(?)
Think that's about it for now. Let's goo!
