Well I'm now sitting in an apartment in London writing this, so it went well
I've really admired your honesty throughout the challenge, and you thoroughly deserve your success. Best of luck in 2012.
Appreciate it loads, I've mentioned it before but it took me ages to make my first 2+2 post on here, I lurked and lurked then signed up eventually.
Hopefully you settle in and can be as fortunate as myself.
Good to hear of your successes so far and that you've managed to pay for a holiday to England, hope it didn't rain TOO much and you enjoyed the sights whilst you were over here.

Man I'm so excited about TCOOP. I normally dont even get the hype around scoop etc as i'm not great at reg speed mtts but this is a real chance. I'll be playing as many as possible and probably think this makes January the biggest month of the year for me!
Not sure about selling action I'll have to look closer at schedule.

Yoooo, I'm not actually 100% I can play it, sister gets married day before so not sure if I'll be back in manchester. I'll hit you up on twitter nearer the time if I'm going to because I'd be more than willing to swap%. I prefer swapping to selling by a long shot.

I quickly stored this thread in my favourites last December and enjoy reading your updates before I play my sessions (99% 45 mans) - always gave me a positive attitude seeing how well you've done, which helped my game, amazing what a difference mood makes to results - so a big thanks to you.
And nice to see your huge Brighton poster , you must really like the place.
All the best for 2012.
Robin.
Thanks for kind words. And appologies for my most likely attrocious shoves/call offs in 45mans, still need to improve at them a lot more. Glad that it helped you to focus and get positive before playing.
I 100% agree with you that the mental side of being healthy relaxed and positive has a massive affect on your results & play. I don't know why but it just does.
Yep I love brighton!

Thanks sir. I think that goal is probably a really high one but one I may go with. If I do set it at $250k in a year no matter what I'll be over the moon with another $100k year to be honest.

I have read it in it's entirety(every post) just finished this morning, and you sir are inspirational!!!
When people ask what is the best book I've read I will in future respond chilin dude's $300 to $100k thread!!!
Your writing style is amazing , your poker play is phenomenal, your self-criticisms and frankness when things were not going right for you are to be admired and your level of honesty and openness with yourself and this forum is obviously making others want to better themselves in the poker world and IRL.
I am so happy for you mate that you have managed to succeed in your epic adventure and will from now on be watching you at the tables, railing you and cheering you on,,I am thoroughly looking forward to your next challenge sir and wish you every success in whatever challenges you set for yourself in 2012, also I tip my hat to you sir with the donations you have made to some very worthwhile charities, karma is indeed the one factor we should all be much more aware of!!
wishing you every success in the future chilin_dude

Thanks so much for the kind words. Really really meant a lot, a few of my none poker friends and family read this thread and they all couldn't believe how nice everyone is to a 'stranger' online. But I guess they don't get the sense of community or support we all draw from one another really. Reading all about these sickos such as givet crushing cash every month in PG&C inspires me and has a knock on affect that hopefully helps everyone.
And yep I'm a massive believer in karma. A lot of my poker friends take the piss out of me for it and call me a life fish because of this but I mean its something nice and positive to believe in even if it isn't real, lets be honest there isn't any negative affect.
