Hey chillin, amazing as this sounds, I've been lurking here all year, and this will be my first post on 2p2 big grats on the achievement, and like for many others you have been an inspiration for me. After seeing your challenge earlier in the year, I set my own fairly modest goal to make enough for me to take my family overseas for a holiday (I'm from aus). Well I'm now sitting in an apartment in London writing this, so it went well

I've really admired your honesty throughout the challenge, and you thoroughly deserve your success. Best of luck in 2012.

I quickly stored this thread in my favourites last December and enjoy reading your updates before I play my sessions (99% 45 mans) - always gave me a positive attitude seeing how well you've done, which helped my game, amazing what a difference mood makes to results - so a big thanks to you.

Your writing style is amazing , your poker play is phenomenal, your self-criticisms and frankness when things were not going right for you are to be admired and your level of honesty and openness with yourself and this forum is obviously making others want to better themselves in the poker world and IRL.

Appreciate it loads, I've mentioned it before but it took me ages to make my first 2+2 post on here, I lurked and lurked then signed up eventually.

Man I'm so excited about TCOOP. I normally dont even get the hype around scoop etc as i'm not great at reg speed mtts but this is a real chance. I'll be playing as many as possible and probably think this makes January the biggest month of the year for me!

I 100% agree with you that the mental side of being healthy relaxed and positive has a massive affect on your results & play. I don't know why but it just does.

Thanks so much for the kind words. Really really meant a lot, a few of my none poker friends and family read this thread and they all couldn't believe how nice everyone is to a 'stranger' online. But I guess they don't get the sense of community or support we all draw from one another really. Reading all about these sickos such as givet crushing cash every month in PG&C inspires me and has a knock on affect that hopefully helps everyone.

And yep I'm a massive believer in karma. A lot of my poker friends take the piss out of me for it and call me a life fish because of this but I mean its something nice and positive to believe in even if it isn't real, lets be honest there isn't any negative affect.
