I don't actually ever recall playing any regular speed 180s, lots of regular mtts but thats about it. I'm pretty sure you will crush regardless and you're better than me anyhow so I prob wont be much help. The 2s there are more fish, 7s i think are very similar to the 2s at the moment not many regs grind them. 12s are tougher as more regs, but still can have good roi because so many regs have loads of sizing tells (me included) that you can pick up upon and just some exploitable ranges.
I really think the difference between 2s and 12s is exagerated fwiw.

First $1k day so far of this thread, feels so good. Decided to load about 9:30pm for long session, but was running good and deep in loads so stopped after 48, and jesus seemed to ft every other 180 I was playing. Shipped a 3r and a 12, and lost hu in a 12 where I got super outplayed by a really aggro none reg who minraised every btn and I spewed off.
Really really ran well today, so many times hit runner runner. For example in 3r 6 left I ship 13bbs with 25os into 9bb effective bb he calls with 88, board comes TK92...5, shippit!

Still on the top of a heater, really confident in my play at the moment obviously too, but don't want to be falsely over-confident. I'm on the heater of a lifetime and its nice but it will come down sooner or later I have to accept.
I'm now less than $200 from Step 3, and possibly one session from getting to it and playing real mtts again.
Such a great month January has been, pretty amazing!

Well it depends how agressive you want to be in shot-taking, all mttcers would advise 200bi's before taking a shot. If you are mixing in 12s and 2s then I think $1.2k is enough, if not take a shot at $1.5k purely on 12s and if you hit $800 or so drop down and grind again. I think aggressive BRM is better long term EV.
May be because I'm in the UK. Fwiw the time I most regularly play is from 10pm-3am UK time (dunno what that is for u). I had a couple people railing me tonight, so my search feature is deffo working Thx.

Hey man just wondering if you could answer a few questions for me, Im thinking of mixing in alot more MTTSNG ($6.50 45mans) was wondering how hard it would be to get 10k vpps a month grinding just those?

Also what kind of roll would you recommend to grind the $6.50 45mans 16 tabling?

You'd have to play a hell of a lot of them! But its possible if you're 16tabling for like 8hrs a day I think. And I'd say $1,000 would be a good roll to play the 6.50 45s.

Hope you keep this up Chilin im rootin for ya, you seem like a decent fella and a damn good player too! Initially thought your goals were bit far fetched but having watch you play i think this is acheivable and would be epic if completed.

This is my first post and the first thread ive followed and i honestly find it quite entertaining im mean fk eastenders i wanna see what is happening in $300 to $100k thread.

As for me im looking for away to build my roll back up after getting 2nd in the sunday 1/4 mill in aug 2010 cashed out all of it and stupidly left myself only the $600 i had before i registered. You would think $600 would be enough to grind small stakes mtts and $4 180s the latter being my bread and butter. Hey presto have a large pile of run bad/play little bit bad lasting 3 months. Still have not had to deposit but need something to happen soon and i may take a shot at something similar to you but just cutting out mtts and only playing $2 + $4 180s get roll back up to $1000 add in $3-$5 freezouts. Cant complain earned more grinding than i did working full time as a civil servant in 2010 only joined in dec 09. I have loads to learn and my friend is mod here (auchiod) said i would plug some leaks and i will use links you mentioned earlier in this thread. i can 25 table the 180s easily but the 45s i'm having trouble 20 tabling because there are a lot more tough spots and goes shorthanded way faster than the 180s so i'm kind of in a dilemma what to play. Sharkscope says I have a 29% roi over my last 970 games but my HEM says I have a 18% ROI over my last 970 games. Honestly don't know which one to believe.. And i feel like 29% ROI isnt enough for a good player (yours is 32% and you had a terrible run at the 2/180s earlier this month..) my hem says my hourly is 5.5$ in the 2180s thats pretty dissapointing..

2nd in the sunday 1/4 mil is pretty epic, how much did that ship, congrats. Unlucky on the variance since then, but sometimes its better to keep us rooted on the ground, and not thinking we're the next durrrr!

I only really play lots of 45s at start of a session because they load faster, once I have 20 tables up I limit them to 5 of my slots, so they lower variance but dont have as many decisions. RE HEM or Scope being accurate, start checking manually at the end of the day, I always check to see if my HEM matches cashier so I can have accurate records.
That hourly is low, but mine was negative and pretty poor over 2k samplesizes so stay positive and grindddd!
