I really lack motivation, so I would like to create this pulic forum to keep me motivated and on track.

I play 2NL FR on FTP, 9 stacked, use PT3. I am hovering around 30BI's, keep going to play MTT's or Rush and so have been hovering around 30BI's.

When I have 20BI's for 5NL I will take a 4 tabling shot, and hopefully never look back

I will look to take this shot when I have completed the Take 2 promo, that will be a great help to moving up.

I will post graph and stats shortly, I would appreciate any feedback.

Also forgot to add, I am 18 years young, living in England and I'm an IT techie. Started playing poker about a year ago now, though read books and watched videos a while before that, and pretty much deposited at Stars and started playing SNG's before transitioning to cash.

Would like to post hands of interest in this topic, but would also like to start posting hands in the micro stakes FR forum, and get involved in more hand discussions.

You are a nit. But hey, if it works for you, keep doing that, just be aware that you are missing out on winning more money. At higher limits you'll have to open up a bit if you don't want to be exploited for your nittiness

This guy is a reg, 12/5 over 1K hands for me. Not sure what his reasoning behind shoving here is?

Suckouts here suckouts there, was down about 3BI at one point but won a few pots. Quit the session as I'm feeling a little frustrated, wanted to play alot more hands, but rather wouldn't play while feeling frustrated.

477 hands +$2.66.

Not a bad session at all, but only a quick one as I have work to do. Will play more later.

Starting to open my stealing range a bit now, and fighting over more limped pots.

Good luck with your challenge. How many tables are you playing because you could really open your range in late position more i believe 9/6 is pretty tight and you might be missing spots to make some money. But if your 24 tabling i could see u being this tight. But i run at about 18/13 which works for me pretty well. I feel like a 17-20/12-15 isn't horrible.

Played another 1252 hands this evening, +$3.14.

Opening up stealing ranges to those folding way too much, Iso'ing a little more. Feeling pretty good about it.

Had a good start to the session, stacking some guy with an overpair vs my set, but went totally card dead then ran KK into AA a few times towards the end.

Will probably play some more tonight.

Take2 promo should be complete in a few days, then after that I will evaluate shot taking at 5NL.

Had a nice long session, had plenty of time to put the hands in, 2243 to be exact, but -$5.72. Just seemed I couldn't win a pot and keep on getting drawn out on, which sucks.

Also received a rakeback payment of $1.49.

9/6 seems ridiculously nitty btw! I've been playing 13/11 at 2NL FR whilst 8-tabling and that seems ultra nitty to me having mainly played 6-max 10NL in the past. I'd definitely encourage you to open up more in late position. You can treat the CO as the BTN if the BTN is a nit. What are you opening ranges for different positions?

Just my opinion obviously and what you're doing seems to be working pretty well at the moment. Feel like you could increase your win rate slightly by playing a few more hands. Keep it up and PM your Skype or whatever if you fancy doing any sweat sessions

Yesterday, tables were extra fishy ofcourse with the terrible news. Played approx 3000 hands, ran super bad against the Eurodonks plus the few americans that were still logged in and just shoving every hand. Was down approx $10. Was pretty steamed about that so went to take a break. Came back and just couldn't be bothered playing 2NLFR, I just felt fed up with playing thousands of hands a session for peanuts, so just went to play 5NL Rush (2 entries) for a bit of a break and something different. Also was playing today. Feel much more comfortable, and feel like I'm making better decisions and playing better, and was up about $25. That with the Take 2 bonus (Once it comes into account), leaves roll pretty healthy.

For now, gonna continue playing 5NL Rush and hopefully will never look back Will reavaluate over 15K-20K hands.
