Sup peeps. Welcome to my poker goals/challenges thread, Two Months, Somewhere Around 4 Figures Hopefully.

I'm an 18 year old student from the UK. On Thursday 24th June, i will have finished my final year of school, before entering university at the start of the next school year. I have no plans of getting another job, apart from my saturday job, where i work at my dads betting office.

In this thread/ a blog i set up, i'll be posting about my daily grind. I hope to win somewhere around £2k, to help set myself up for university, and leave myself in a position to grind the cash games in the future. Currently i have 587$ on the Merge Poker network, and have been grinding out some MTTs there during my exams. I've run pretty well and got a sick ROI over a relatively small sample size. However, after Thursday I'll try to play more 10/25NL 6max to work get the real volume in, and some tournaments on the side. I enjoy the soft MTT fields and the overlay at Merge, but there are only 8 tournaments i can play on a GMT schedule. In the spirit of two months two million, I'll perform a penalty task if i fail in my weekly goals. I may need some suggestions for this, but hopefully I'll grind my way to victory every time.

Short Term goals: Sunday the 27th, i intend to play the 109$ 50k Guaranteed i won a satellite for a couple of weeks ago. Obvious hoping to bink the tourny for a nice score, however, a min cash would not be a disaster. If anyone pms me I'll message my username if they want to sweat over msn.

Monday 28th- Sunday 4th: 10NL-25NL grind
1.5K hands a day on average (4bb/100 EV min).
Run 3+ times during the week.
2+ updates minimum

Obviously! No clue as to what they could be as of yet, but I have toyed with the idea of eating something disgusting.

Plan so far. Grind a week on Merge, both cash and SnG. Hopefully get my bankroll to 750$. Then move 200$ to PokerStars to play MTTs and 180 mans. Then i'll play majority cash on Merge with a few MTT nights mixed with 180 mans to increase volume. If i fail at the cash games on Merge, I'll move my full roll over to Pokerstars and concentrate on dominating the 180mans.

Sup guys. So far i've been playing pretty poorly and struggled with a pretty bad chest. I've not been for a single run, and went to the doctors today where i got a prescription for an inhaler. I'm about 1.5k behind on the hands i need to play, and I'm busy all saturday and most of sunday, so I'll be grinding pretty hard to make the hands required.



All 6-8 tabling atm, with one session of spew where i lost about 4 bis one two tabling whilst watching a world cup game... FML. My bankroll is about 400$ plus two rakeback payments, which I'm not too happy about.

The 50k guaranteed went ok, i made some moves including a cold 4bet bluff which worked. However, i lost a flip for half my stack, and then ended up shoving 55 into JJ on a J27 board having raised preflop and only having 1.5 PSB left. I'll update tommorow afternoon when i hit 9k hands and post some of my biggest winning and losing hands. I'm currently half way to vip level 2 where i get 72$ cashback and slowly unlocking my bonus. Anyways off to grind for another hour, peace out!

1.7k hands 5 buyins, still 2 bis below ev. Sick load of rakeback and need to grind for about 5 hours tommorow to even make my target. I enjoyed 12 tables, i played a bit tighter, and kept the 3 bet bluffing to a minimum. Lost a decent sized pot vs a fish when i misclicked 3b AQo for 25bb and then tried to bluff him off it. Also spewed a buyin on a double paired board where he had one of the cards which kinda sucked.

6520 hands played, 4k more to hit my goal.

3.73 EVbb/100 atm which is nice, especially after the spew session.
