Making this post with complete faith I will do my best to reach my 100k, if I don't make it I promise to do my absolute best to get close to it.

I'm backed by a legend, have a tonne of great poker players I can learn from, the only thing thats been holding me back is my own lack of discipline, I hope that this thread helps me turn that around.

Atm I am 6kish in makeup and have been on a pretty decent ds, combination of bad luck, bad play and at times bad game selection. I'm confident I can mix it with the best and that is my aim.

My starting br is 283.43, I will post running totals at end of each session with my cr br mu figure and my profits, (we might split if i win something decent), however i have a full time job so this will be quite the challenge.

I will list specific goals in my next post or 2 but roughly I need to plan sessions better, avoid distractions, be alot healthier (less booze, well prepared meals).

Starting games will be 2.50 180s, 3.50 r 180s and micro and low mtts on stars, I can get reloads if i bust roll but thats not the plan obv, I aim to spend lots of time working out how to optimise my schedule and play the right games, as well as having a balance in life, need to improve the amount of time I play my A game.

My plan is to get to the top, and I will make it happen.

ft'd 2x 2.50 180s so far played prob 5 of them and itm in big 3.30

just looked at my ss for the first time in a while and see i am on a 9k drop since all time high in scheduled mtts, really dont understand why im dropping so much, prob a combo of too many tables and too many varients so will try and figure out the best mtts to include in schedule to add to my sngs.

I have done some thinking (and drinking - but hey its xmas )

I'm going to set some goals to do between now and the new year which is 5 sessions if u count session im playing now.

[ ] ft a big
[ ] play atleast 4 sessions of atleast 6 hours each on average
[ ] organise/update pt4
[ ] one coaching sesh with the boss!
[ ] prepare meals before session
[ ] max 12 beers a session (dont worry will be working on cutting this down in the new year)
[ ] prepare new year goals (this is a big goal)

As i said these are 5 day goals, some of them will continue to the next year but will do my best to do all of them before the new year

GL all, will update when i finish the session, will probably be a monster one, even though my sharkscope tells me to skip scheduled mtts, i feel im improving at them faster then anything and im due for a big one, will grind most lows/micros on stars plus 2s and 3rs 180s gl everyone.

Gl with your goals, will be lurking. I don't t understand why you're playing 2.50's and have a "br" of 260 when you're backed by a legend and are 6k in the hole. Seems like there are better games to play?

there probably are better games, I think one of my biggest problems is playing too wider variety of games and too many tables, there are so many formats of mtts i have trouble mixing them probably as well as having sngs going too.

Reason for starting with 2s is I feel like I want to get off to a clean start, the aim is to mix in some 3rs, move completely to 3rs, and probably only play the red special mtts. It's really hard to not flick in some good value mtts, but I think playing all the one type of game (eg all 180s) will help me focus more.

Makes sense i reg just red mtts along side 180s to start i think, going to cut out the big 33 big 44 which i have been playing occasionally.

Will be playing a session soon after dinner, figure I will set some goals before I play each session.

[ ] no skype or 2p2

[ ] eat well before I play and have snacks ready mid session

[ ] mark a few hands for review before tomorrows session

[ ] only mtts allowed are reds

I know it going to be hard for me not too play other mtts, so this will test my discipline. When I update I want be posting current bankroll, but just update whether it was a winning or losing session and notable runs, occasionally mentioning how far I am off makeup. Really not sure the best way to update my progress to 100k though.

Update after the first proper session i've played since starting this thread. I

Played 54 2s for 1rst, 3rd, 6th, 7th, 8th and 6th min cashes. Played a few 3rs no luck, and mtts just a few micros and the big 16. Took 2nd in the 1.10r turbo 750g for 140ish.

Pretty happy with the session ended up about + 170 i think, and will be putting in another similar session this afternoon after some lunch (probably dominoes).

Also @philip, yes I plan on doing more regular reviews with my backer although it is hard because our timezones conflict but I sent him 2 hh's from yesterdays session so we will probably go through them over the next few days or week.

In terms of doing my own study I'm really lazy towards it but I guess that is something I need to change in the future (although hearing that mortemeleu doesn't know pot odds makes me feel better )
