What's up 2+2?
Long time lurker inspired by threads from zOmgtilts, SID and all the micro Zoom dudes cranking out that dollar!
Starting this PG&C thread to hold myself pubically accountable for the journey on which I am about to embark. Until now my experience with poker has been limited to dabbling with MTTs and less frequently live cash. I haven't played a tremendous amount of either and although I have done well by my standards in both I'm pretty sure my thought process when it comes to cash in comparison to regular contributors to this forum is that of a <>< so I'm basically a noob.
The main goal for now is to improve my thought process and decision making. I will deposit $1,000 to start this challenge and look to start with 25NLZ and progress towards 100NLZ. It's unlikely that I'll have to withdraw during the bankroll building process which should hopefully accelerate my progression through the stakes. The first couple of days I may just splash in the 10NLZ as I get used to my HUD and get comfortable with the game.
I'm going to avoid setting arbitrary monetary goals until I feel I have reached a certain level of competence.
During the first half of 2014 I appear to have gained a nice set of tits so I shall include a few health and fitness goals centred around not being a fat ride for the rest of the year. I have enjoyed HIIT (high intensity interval
training) in the past so will likely resume that in the near future.
2014 Poker Goals
- Improve thought process
- Learn how to study effectively
- Progress from 25NZ to 100NLZ
- Log 120 table hours per week
2014 life goals
- HIIT 4 times per week
- Read 2 non-poker books per month
Any thoughts or input to this thread are greatly appreciated.
Now to work out how to convert hands and add thread savers...
