So.. after complete rebuild of strategy, I turned my -12bb/100h redline to this

I am aware of small sample size.. special thx to Kockar, Shipnickle and StewieTheStag for tips!

Anyway. Finally, I have 50BI for NL16, so going to give it a shot.

So.. first two days at NL16. Seems that the whale / nonwhale ratio is even bigger than at NL10. I feel comfortable there. Really looking forward to put more volume there.

Joining PowerPoker was gamechanger.
I had a leakfinder by guy who plays up to NL1000.
I started to play less tables. I changed preflop ranges. I play 3bet strat pre only (except BB). Then sizings, lines.. well.. everything? Spent plenty hours with GTO+.. Now I mark couple of hands every session and solve them next day. I study daily some particular situations for longer time (e.g. BB vs SB SRP etc..)

I also improved my mindset a lot (I hope).. Even already having 20bi swing (that would be devastating half a year ago) I do not care. I found a mantra: "They just realized this possibility now, it is necessary to happen. According to the law of large numbers I am going to crush them anyway" that works super good for me after few months of practise. I started to rationalize a lot of stuff. I accept the mistakes I do also.. Half a year ago, two <10% BI loses in a row would make me feel miserable and forced me to play much worse.. Really huge game changer for me. I am looking forward to test it in bigger downswings and bigger downswings will come, that is 100% sure

NL16 shot so far:

GL everyone!

Happy to see that your effort is paying off. You are now part of a CFP or is PowerPoker something different?

Thank you Kockar!

PowerPoker is czech community that you can join also for free. When you pay you have access to videos with robust game plan/strategy/hh review/live play and weekly group coaching. Each coaching is recorded so you can watch it later. Also there is discord server where we can discuss hands/strat/mental game inside the community, make sweat sessions etc. The content is so much better than paid content at Run It Once.. and the price is super cheap. One year small stakes subscription is about 10 USD monthly.

Great turnaround

I don't know how the pooles are these days, but in my exp 16z is a good bit spewier and aggro ( in a whaley way ) compared to 10z or even 5z which for the most part are nit/weak reg fests.

No doubt in my mind if you're beating 10 solidly you'll do the same at 16z for a similar winrate, you might have to make some minor adjustments like playing a bit tighter and barrelling less, basically just letting the fish/whale types do the betting for you rather than running over all the weak regs at 10 to gain that big edge. At least when I played, that was the meta.

gl with your 2021 will be following!

Thx! I think you are right. There is slightly more spewy whales than at NL10.

NL16 shot goes really well so far.

Hard to put volume this month for me as I am playing new limit and review a lot of hands. Spending more time with study than playing.

10 more BI to nl25 shot. I slowly start to believe that I can finally reach NL25 this year.

January is over.

I hope to put more volume next month, at least 30k hands. Seems study pays off, so I am going to continue. Going to focus more on BB vs BUT SRP pots next month.
GL all!

NL16 experience so far.

I just can't hit anything recently. I had plenty WWSF close to 40% sessions. Just keep running to the top of ranges and not able to hit aboard.

Still poor volume and a lot of study time. I def. need to focus on playing more than studying. Pointless to know a lot of stuff while playing poor volume in game with ~100bb/100h stddev. However, I am satisfied with my results so far

Sick results man! I'm curious what your aggression factor is with that redline?

AF 2.4
I still suck on playing OOP so much.. def need to increase my x/r. Also I am 100% i do not raise enough hands ott and otr, also need to work on this. I can see plenty of room to improve. Hard to plug so many leaks as I had Dunno where to go first

Another month finished. I had some sessions with <40WWSF and <40WSD where I could not hit anything and all boards just turned to the worst possible runouts. The positive thing is that I did not care and I did not feel injustice etc. Incredible progress in my mental game I think.

I could not play much volume due to some serious health issues.. Not sure next month will be better.

6BI to NL25 shot.

NL16 this month.

Now I have >1250 USD so I decided to start to shot NL25.
I did not expect to be there in October 2020

Another month with poor volume. But it seems my health problems are getting better.. so I hope to play a bit more next month. I feel guilty about having above EV month, I am not used to have graphs like this.

BR at 1.440 USD. About a year ago (in may) I had the last 150 USD and was struggling at NL10 for a year..

NL25 seems soft so far. But I played only 2.5k hands (with 128$ profit).

Definitely, people are more overbetting there, also raising more pre/post. Usually with the wrong selection of combos (in my sample).

GL all!

Crushing it! Great month, once you start moving out of the rake trap stakes it becomes a lot smoother sailing It is insane how much you have to beat the games by to get over the rake at 10nl, so it is a big achievement to move up - I was stuck there for at least 2 years!

May was really hard month..

NL16

NL25

Most of BI down to 40+ VPIV guys, who cold call 4bet with 52o etc. Loosing in 4bet pots, in 3bet pots.. just everywhere

But making money in long run, so I am actually glad about that.

I moved down to play only NL16. I still have more than 50BI for NL25, but decided to stay at NL16 and win there at least 20BI before taking another shot.

GL to all!
