2019 - Just quit my Marketing Job and come to an Island 2019 - Just quit my Marketing Job and come to an Island

Hi guys,
I'm a 24 years old Vietnamese. 've just graduated Business Administration for 3 years. Then, i chose to work in Marketing Industry, a Digital Marketing Specialist.
After that, i've done well with my work in a Start up. Everything is alright, just be a leader of a wonderful DM team, but actually i don't feel like i love the job very much. Everything i've done (with my feeling) is just fine, and i don't try very much to work best at my job (hah, of course my KPI always runs good )

And I consider it with Poker (I've known poker for a year from my funny CEO, an abroad student. Then my 9-5 work is still happening, and sometimes i play poker on Pokerstars "just for fun").
With my Poker Journey, i really want to admit that although i search very much about poker, read many books this year, i dont really know much about it's Foundation and the Pathway to learn more.
I jump from Fullring microstakes NL2 when i read Crushing the Microstakes then jump to 6max SNG when read The SNG Blueprint. Haha, funny mey ) Atm, i'm starting with 6max NL2 cash game, just trying to jump up to NL50.

Then now i decide to move out and come to Phu Quoc Island to have a dedicated experience time with poker.

I'm doing this blog is for motivation and to track my own progress in all aspects of my life. Hopefully some updates are interesting to some!

And Poker Goals for 2019 / Next 2 months:
[ ] 300k hands (abt ~20k hands/week with some day-offs)
[ ] Set up solid study schedule to improve constantly, keep track and study 1 hour a day.
[ ] Move to NL16 (haiz, gonna try my best to study and win fast at each stake)

Some Life Goals
1, Experience the whole Island at the weekend.
2, Enjoy life without very much friend (then there is no beer, no drunk haha)
3, Stay fit with Calisthenic everyday.
4, I'll keep the blog updated with regards to these amongst other aspects of my non poker life.

Finally, i love poker very much. Thank you and happy Grinding.
Sry for my bad english (maybe there are lot of grammar mistakes)

------
Here's 3-4 grinding days on Phu Quoc.
Start with BR $42, some downswings then upswings and atm is $49. Lucky me.
Gonna update day by day to keep my motivation up ))

Yeah it's nice.
But imo there's nothing much here. It's quite peaceful and slow
you may come and visit some other places in Vietnam next time.

Done for today, it's really a tough day with many up and down. And there are some continuous set up hands, it does make me so tilt.
KK vs AA two times in a row
8 buyins out for that

I have some seshs reg cash game NL2 and some seshs Zoom NL2. So hard with Zoom game with me.

But in the end for today, it's ok with my new record 3k hands/day (never done yet before haha)

My chart with Reg Cash game this morning:

Zoom is on the afternoon:

Anyone here play zoom multitabling? It's chaotic with me.

Hello, my friend.

I 3-table or 4-table (depending on the day) at zoom.

My biggest suggestion is: don't look to your results everyday. You can see your results once a week, but even that I'd say it's a very small sample.

Your results per day represent absolutly nothing. These numbers aren't trustworthy, therefore have no value. If you continue to do this, when're on a very strong downswing or upswing, your mind will be blind.

But don't get me wrong, that's just my opinion. I could be wrong, hehehehe.

Good luck! :- )

Thank mate. Yah i think so too. With just 2k hands a day there are lots of variations.
Gonna take your suggestion and review my game on the weekend.

Update first week i grind poker.

There are lots of things i have to do to improve my game. I see that in my week, i have many many struggles to bring my C won up.
It''s always up and down on a line like the graph. I feel like today is up and tomorrow is suddenly down.

And there's some problems in my mental game. With some sessions i loose with bad beat, it gonna go down to a very bad session. Max loose session is: -7BIs.
But there's something i feel good is i love this game, i can grind all day and i am trying to be better then.
Trying to meditation daily, too.

Some goals for this week:
[ ] 30k hands til Next Sunday.
[ ] Learn from HH 1h/day
[ ] Win atleast 5BB/100
[ ] Daily Meditation.

Haizz, lots of things have to do, really want to polyphasic sleep for more time ) but very afraid of health issue.

Interesting Hands
