no one knows exactly whats game theory optimal is (also it will constantly change with time depending on so many variables, pokers not solved game or simple ha its really very complex no cookie cutter answers ever in it really) lots of people just have ideas/strats that have historically worked for them but again the ideal strat changes from one table/game to the next and from one opponent to another, so really you should always be thinking once you get comfortable at the table get a feel for your opponents, working out what mistakes your opponents are making with there hands/streets then exploiting those mistakes designing specific strategy game plans for each opponent to part them with there money, and trying to minimise your own mistakes yourself that is it person who makes the least mistakes wins longterm as long as beat the rake too (think why mental control/tilt control/ego control is a massive contributor to whether a poker player is successful longterm, that and bankroll management, mean you could have the best strategy/game in the world but it means jack**** if you dont follow it at all times and tilt off your whole roll or winrate in one bad session, mean edges in poker normally regardless are quite small if playing against people with a clue so tilt is financial suicide in poker and obvs edges are huge if your playing against fish though).
but yh theres no such thing as game theory optimal in poker and if there is it will change from one day/month to the next, so best thing you can do is try to play as logically and unemotional as can do at all times if you play logically correct then naturally you will be playing mathematically correct poker too.
