I won 84k$ last year playing around 70 hours/month, at the beginning of 2015 i was playing 6max mostly 25NL+50NL.

70 hours/month is 70*12 = 840 hours. This means you're hourly was $100/hr. Assuming a modest win rate of 5bb/100 and averaging your stakes to about 35nl you would need to have won 240,000 big blinds. If you were winning at a rate of 5bb/100 that is 4.8 million hands or around 6k hands/hr

Did you jump to 1knl and crush or what

At the beginning of 2015 I was only playing online 25/50NL with some shots to 100NL. In march I mixed in some 200NL, since mid 2015 I was mostly playing 100NL+200NL and started playing 400NL at the local casino. Towards the end of 2015 I still played mostly 100NL+200NL online, with some 500NL and kept playing 400NL at the local casino.

My winrate in 2015 online is 12.3 bb/100 over 411.266 hands, at the casino it was much higher, but obviously did not count the hands to calculate my winrate there.

Cruel session. Honestly gotta work on my mental game, if I want to achieve the goal I set myself.


Very easy fold on the river, but I had not the state of mind to make that fold. Kinda burning money. Bet size on the flop might be too small, had a lot of action going on the other tables, almost timed out. Would appreciate suggestions about the betsize. Other than that just ran bad in general, got it in good, got it in bad. Towards the end of the session kinda tilted.

Also it seems like I really have difficulties against playing non standard 3b ranges of 10%+, especially against high BTN 3bets of 20%+. Are there any suggestions how I can start to improve that area of my play? I guess GTO is the key here?

I am pretty happy though, that I put in good volume today and I am looking forward towards tomorrows session.

Probably because you're opening too wide. So, just not open super wide. If blinds are good then defending vs. 2x is pretty easy.

20% is definitely high, but something like 15% seems reasonable if you're min opening and you are opening wide. So, it's not that crazy. Check out what your RFI from BTN is and then determine how much you're defending, you might just be getting exploited.

How can I check if I am getting exploited there using HM2?

January is becoming better and better. I won 3.5k$ today playing only 1.5k hands, really feels amazing.

I am still searching for a good hand converter, since the converter from 2+2 does not seem to work with my hand histories?

Nice graph! My plan for 2016 is to move up to 200 or even 400 as you did last year, currently I'm procrastinating my 100 shot. What BRM did you use? Did you find 100/200 much tougher than 50?

Players do play more aggressively in general, even the weaker opponents seem to be more on the aggressive spewy side. It seems like my style of play is more adapted to the aggressive games, since I hate folding and my winrate seems to show that, as I win more bb/100 at 200NL as I do win at 50NL. I don't have a BRM, as I constantly cash out and invest the money in either fun or assets, but I guess I am more on the nitty side when it comes to moving up. It really depends on your winrate and style of play, move up whenever it feels comfortable for you.

I heard about it, but never used it. Gonna get it right now.

I will play more hands and higher stakes in the future to reach my goal of 250.000$ this year, but nonetheless I am pleased with the start of this year and since I more and more enjoy playing the game and my game will improve a lot during this year, I am confident I am going to reach my goal.
A problem I am currently facing at the moment is that the games I am playing run at night, so at the moment I usually get up at 2 am in the morning, most of the time only having 5 hours or less sleep, which might be too less. I really think about moving somewhere to asia, the time zone would fit perfectly, travelled many times to different places in asia before, even lived there for 1 1/2 years and absolutely loved it.

In February I won about 1.2k so far.
