Hi there guys and girls,
24yo German guy here. I finished my bachelors degree last summer and am currently doing an internship at one of the large car manufacturers of the GERMANNZZ country, nothing to do with diesel here though.
I started to play poker when I was about 14 or 15, deposited here and there and obviously lost it all due to....well i was fkn 15 what do you expect.

Took things a bit more serious turning 18 and actually made some money, but the monkeytilt got the best of after a while every time I tried to move up and play better. Played some live poker during my studies, so overall I'm probably up a few k over the course of my poker "career". I do not want to calculate my hourly though as it would most likely be <$1 and the time+nerves wasted tilting hard could definitly have been spent better
My goals for 2016 are pretty straightforward I think:
- Start my M.Sc. in September --> Finally get my ass up to apply and write those damn motivation letters
- Going to the gym 3 times a week on average with the occasional squash session in between --> get fit and bulk up to 80kg, currently standing at 75 with a bit too much fat at 1,83m (6'0" for all you weirdos
)
- Get a nice second internship on my CV before starting uni again, favourably some consulting or start-up stuff
and obviously
- Play my best poker, improve and do not tilt. Currently reading Tommy Angelo and "The Mental Game of Poker" and think that there is some very helpful stuff in those.
I am going to start out with a $350 bankroll, playing a max of 2 tables Nl10z to begin with and go from there.
I will probably not always update progress in all of my goal-departments and spice this thread with some random thoughts/pics/songs whatever, but we will see where this is going
GL to you all at the tables and a very happy 2016
