Just wrapped up the month. Don't think I've really gotten better at poker, I did not actively work on my game, but I did win money at nl25, so that's great. I think that's mainly due to being more focused and more disciplined. I did tilt a fair amount, but it didn't affect my game as much. Really looking forward to increasing the volume in february and going back to uni.

I'm almost rolled to play nl50, especially with some bonuses I still have to collect. I won't start playing it before I improve because I don't want to play higher than I do now when still being pretty clueless in a lot of spots.

Hand 6) Maybe you can jam profitably but I'm not sure. I'm mostly at the call side. I agree that it was a little weird hand, I think I just call turn if I was him. On the other hand make some sense with the river small size otr trying to gain value from Jx or some pairs but the river card completes all possible draws..

Just finished a session, ended up, but its less then half a buy in, so whatever. I think this is a pretty interesting hand, though i'm not happy with the way I played it. Didn't know too much about villain, sample was tiny, but stacksize and the fact that he was playing on his smartphone looked fishy.

Flop great obviously, and he pots, now I think I should just jam, cause he's not folding AK or AA and there's only 2 combo's of QQ and KK. In game, I don't want to scare him off, cause I represent nothing but KQ, which is something you shouldn't worry about when playing against fishes. Turn is awfull, now I just have a bluffcatcher and if he somehow had JT he got there. I think I should just bet small here and fold to a shove, cause I can get value from Ax and Kx and we can often check behind on the river if necessary. Now I check back, letting all pair+gs and maybe fd realise their equity. Villain bombs river, and I called for two reasons, 1)villain is a fish and fish can sometimes just nuts with air, and 2) lol 2p in 3bpot. Its a pretty strong line that usually means a strong hand. But I never should've gotten in this river spot, so its pretty whatever.

I find that spot tough i.e. Whether to re-pop flop or lead or x/r turn.

Hmm, it hadn't really considered leading and x/raising turn. I think x/c turn is probably right, but I'm kinda annoyed with myself that I hadn't considered it, I was making my usual quick decisions.

I'm gonna be aiming to get back in the green lifetime at nl25 with the green line too this month. After that i'm rolled for nl50 and then i'm gonna slowly mix that it with the nl25 tables. Inbetween I'll also work hard on my game, I don't want to start that limit off by losing 20 buy ins.

Lol - KK v KT cracks me up..............except for when they outdraw you, which seems to be fairly often

I am so incredibly ****ing life tilted right now. At uni they basically told me that I most likely can't start an internship next month, cause of some retarted rule almost nobody knew about. If that's true i'm basically done studying until september, meaning the last year was almost completely and utterly wasted.

Then I played some poker and lost in every ****ing spot. Most notably I got 1010 against Q10 on QQ10 where after I raise flop and bet turn ip against a whale my internet connection dies, have to waite a minute before it starts back up again just in time to timebank call the shove from villain only to see i'm drawing dead.

Yesterday started just awful when I rode my bike with 2 crutches in hand to uni when my chain broke down on the middle of the road. Luckily a fellow student happened to be there and pushed me the rest of the way, which wasn’t that far. Then I got a message that can actually do my internship this year, which is great. Then, after a long day at uni I had to get my bike to a bike shop, walk on crutches to the bus stop, wait for the bus, walk from the bus stop to my dorm, and that all in the pouring rain. After that I had to go home through public transport, which is a pain huge in the ass in my condition.

I had to play a decent amount yesterday and today to clear a little $62.50 bonus, so I finally got in some volume. The last session was really fun because my brother who got me into poker was watching me. We were bantering a bit and he’d do these Antonio Esfandiari “whiiieeeh” impressions whenever I hit something, followed by laughing his ass off if I somehow still managed to lose at showdown. All in good fun.

Went on a little heater in the last 2 days, although I managed to run under EV again, which is slowly getting pretty ridiculous. Here’s the graph

Remember when I said I'd ramp up the volume in february?
