2014: More than MTTing and ZOOMing 2014: More than MTTing and ZOOMing

Hey Guys, my name is Henry and I played under the name stone_s_g on stars, usually known as stone/ssg. Finally decided to make my first PG&C thread after being too shy for so long.
Last year I spent a lot of time of playing Mtts not really full time cause I had to take weeks off between months, things just kept happening.
Had some decent score like came like 4th in the bigger 55 twice, shipped the 1r 3x turbo, 3rd in the big 162 after 6bet/folding, and some close runs like 30th in the million, 37th in the ftops main.
Would have been a great year if I didn't lose like 20k in the wcoop, bricked almost every single event I played, ran bad and played bad.

The good thing about last year is that I made supernova for the first time

I really felt this year is gonna be epic because I know I'm a much better player than this time last year, poker is something that you would feel you are better at each and every day and that's why I love it.

My main game is gonna be MTTs everything up to big 162 on weekdays, not gonna play the 100r and the 215 turbo daily though, and basically everything except the sunday 500 on sundays, I will also use the 15 180s to hedge/smooth variance daily and replace those with 35 180son sundays.

180 AND MTT graph so far, not sure why my ROI is negative for Mtts.

Zoom is my secondary game which I play mainly for the purpose of VPPs, I usually just 3/4 tabling the 200zoom for 1hour after my MTTs session or add in like 2/3 zoom tables when I'm down to the last Mtt table.

Zoom graph so far this year, include a small session in the 500zoom which I ran okay except losing top boat to quads.

Together I'm hoping for 400k VPP, currently I'm on the 300k pace so I think 400k would be achievable if I put in decent volume of zoom sessions.

Outside poker is mainly just stay healthy, I currently goes to the gym everyday after my session and I hope it stays that way for the coming year. Food is kind of terrible though, I know how to cook properly but always get lazy and end up buying outside, would definitely try to cook more and that's also pretty cost efficient.

The extra goal would be to travel around but that would largely depend on how I do.

Cliff
400k Vpps playing MTTs and Zoom 200nl
Gyms at least 5 times a week
Eat healthier, cook more myself

Today was okay, managed to ship a 15 180man for a green day.
Also finished 37th in the big 55, just went card dead the last hour.
then lost AK to AT.

Bit disappointed with Tcoop though,
Had a okay stack after the rebuy period, and ran into a cooler

Probably not gonna play zoom today cause I'm a bit tired. Will take a short break before going to the gym.

Was out all day today, manage to slide in a real tiny session of zoom.
Currently I felt I get owned a lot post either I'm folding too much or calling too much.

Vs a abc kind of reg,
I really wanted to fold on the flop but just can't control myself which lead me to a crying river spot, almost hit call on the river, yeah he does have some busted draws or QJ sometime but hero call just suck in the long run.

      January
January was alright, made about 8k in mtt/sng on stars, Cash was a bit meh, think I'm kind of breakeven because I switch between games too much, but will stick to 200nl zoom from now on.

      February Goals
      25k VPPs,
      40k 200zoom hands
spend 2 hours a week on studying my games

Again short session today but pretty productive, I definitely need to change my sleeping schedule as I'm having trouble getting up lately.

won a 8r sattie into the tcoop me!
and came 72th in the hot 75, 45th in the 27ko

Cash was fun, finally forced myself to play more than 1k hands. Otherwise I will behind for my VPPs.

      Hand of the day

I regret my turn raise, both the move and the sizing as soon as I did it, Utg has a lot of sets in his range.
River was just too thin for me to bet.. he's just almost never flatting Ax..

        Update

The good old sunday, Played a lot, but for some reason I never got over 12 tables, just kept busting and loading.
Tcoop was a joke.. lost QQ to AK then got card dead, shove 15bb utg with TT only to see BB woke up with JJ.

ft the bigger 162 for 7k which kind of saved my day, made quite a lot of spewy play in the final two tables.. had 800k at one point but sigh.
SO came to the ft short stacked.
