Ty for sharing graph. What you say about losing due to lack of reads is super interesting. It basically means that a player in your calibre can't win in these games with a "default" strategy which totally overwhelms me.
In other words there is a chance that without taking more exploitive actions even top regs are doom to fail.
And in most simple words, maybe, just maybe GTO cannot exists in a tough 6max game.

Maybe, maybe not haha. I wouldn't know since I'm not even sure that I'm playing GTO myself. I would think that I think about my range a lot more than a 500NL reg, but probably that's nowhere near GTO at that.

Plus, like I said, a lot of the time my attitude is "Meh, it's bout treefiddy to call this shove, let's go" so I'm likely spewing a lot more than someone that plays 500NL as their main game would.

Would also like to say that I'd prefer it if you guys didn't attack people personally in my thread in future. The person I think you're referring to and I have been pretty civil with each other as of late and I'm sure we hold nothing personal against each other so yeah, keep the love going around in the thread instead of hate IMO.

So lately I've barely been able to grind and put in the hours (this week infact), and I'm not really sure why. It could be a combination of many things, the first being that my flight to HK is only a few days away and I'm clearly too excited to grind. The other could be that I'm experiencing some kind of risk aversion to the game until the month is over. If you guys have been following my thread, you'll remember that I've posted back to back months where I've made $100k in a month, then lost $50k-$100k straight after in April/May (mental game fish obv).

I will definitely be putting in some hours in Hong Kong despite being on holiday though. Going to be a nice change of scenery!

Mostly finished my packing now, just a few bits and bobs left to do, flying in 2 days time!

Regarding poker, I really couldn't keep away from the grind and had a small-ish couple of sessions today whilst trying to fix Table Ninja on my laptop. Was down like $1k or something on the day.

More importantly, I decided that when I get back from Hong Kong, I will try to play more live tournaments over the next year Will be playing the UKIPT ME in Galway, Ireland. Not sure which day I'll be playing yet but don't mind saying hi and all that if you're around.

Any decent live tourneys around that size in Europe that I should have a crack at?
