Hey guys and girls,

I have decided to begin this thread to relay some of my goals as a poker player.
My history currently has been in entertainment and part time poker experience however i do plan to take my poker more seriously this year.
My beginning bankroll is $500 and i want to make enough to build a bankroll to move up to the 100 nl stakes.
Some of the plans i have atm are to increase the number of tables i play currently able to grind 4 tables comfortably and also add more hours played into each day for quality poker playing time somewhere between 20-25 hours.
I have created a spreadsheet to measure several factors like $/ hour hands/ hour and Total $ won. I also added into this SS # of tables played, my goal for hours played for the week, my actual hours played per week so i can see how far i was fro achieving my goal, and actual hours spent reviewing/studying poker.
Using an excel spreadsheet for this information was pretty simple and i was able to copy and paste the info for the next few months to track the data to see if I can effectively add more tables to my grind and make more money or $/hour.

#2 Basically knew I was an undedog in this hand but made the proper bet size on flop to pot commitment my oppt. max their FE and also give myself proper eq% to make hand an BE, since1 pot bet= 33% Eq and with an GSD and 4 to fd w. 2 cards to go I am around 46% Eq to beat trips off the flop w. an OESD or FD.
Even with my eq calculation off I still had correct pot odds to make move after inputting into eq calculator to double check it.

Hands I possibly played incorrectly:
#1: Q8c OOP calls min bet on flop with Good eq to FD and mid pair possible hit 2 pr, Turn hit 2 pr and have 4 to c FD redraw so Bet=Pot, 1 oppt calls, Rvr comes A which pairs board and misses FD.
Oppt was in ep Felt his hr was strng for Ax especially with the pot bet call on turn, so I decide to check fold as my line, Possibly missed value here
any thoughts like should I of Bet/ Folded here?

#4: A6os on BB, limp pot, IP postflop oppt checks, I bet= 1 pot with 1 oc and OESD, on 875 w. 2 to fd board, Turn comes 6c making 4 to conn and possibly 2 diff FD, oppt bets half pot, and I fold here
I felt oppt hand range being losse and passive would consits of a large # outs for making 2 pair or possibly hitting the OESD on turn and having 2 to FD as redraw?
Basically with a half pot bet thought he was betting for value here after hit hand on turn,
any thoughts?

Previously within the last 3 months i did not know how to properly bluff, but now that i decided to take my game to the next level and learn more about equity and how to use it properly with my bet sizes things are really starting to become more clear for me.

I had to post this up today because this was the most beautiful execution of bet sizing as well as using both my win % equity + bluff % equity to force my opponent into a folding situation with a much stronger hand:

I made sure to select under image shack optimum upload size for message boards but still no love updating on here unfortunately.

So i thought i would go ahead and provide the community with some background info on myself.
I am currently employed with Fed-ex and hate every minute of being in a corporate hierarchy. Everyday all i do is listen to people bitching 40 hours a week.
Therefore i have decided to take up poker a game i love to try to propel myself into a better life style.
I do have big dreams but basically i plan to take small steps to make those dreams happen by trying to successful beat every stake from 10 nl to 100 nl.
By the time i reach 100 nl the plan will be to compare my poker income to my real life income and make some good decisions on GTFO of Fedex and starting a real life that i love surrounded by shuffled decks and the sound of chips being felted.
