Spent day with family but was going to do a long nightly session (3-4h more until 4-5 AM) but then suddenly power outage.. Still grinded these games but have to stop since the laptop doesn't have that much battery Could go on the internet because of my phone connection.. wouldn't have had a backup-internet-backup though but took the chance. Hoping to grind quite a bit tomorrow but might not.

Electricity came back. This is today so far.. Didn't play too well so will take an hour+ break or so then try again, no point in putting in volume where I don't play better than breakeven, I won't reach the 1.25 mill bonus either way, I'm at 1.1 mill now.

30k below for the month now


~70 avg buyins below(around 8k is in 1ks). Down 19k in $. Hardly any 1ks in there though, otherwise I'd have expected it more. Oh well.
It's not a problem as I'm rolled for the stakes by far but it does make me a bit sad. That said, I'd manage 2 mill VPPs next year just from 300-500$ stakes if I had to.

Can I ask how many buyins you keep online for the highest stake you play or is that private? ;p

Atm I have 90k$ + ~14k worth of fpps online.

A few fish gave me trouble today so will likely look over those games tomorrow. Also struggling when I sometimes get a 5th game on the laptop, it doesn't feel like enough space. Still, ran into a bunch of coolers both pre and postflop I felt, so not that mad at the EV line today. Probably not taking tomorrow off but may start late if I feel awful because of the drop. Stopped playing now just in case, one of my biggest losing days so can't really trust myself when I feel like I still play ok. Down 17k today.

EV line isn't good anymore but it's at 2% at least :/ 41k below EV

Fwiw when I filtered for 200-500$ stakes and 1k$ separately I see that I have a 4% EV ROI at 200-500, and a -1% EV ROI at 1k$. These past few days there has been tons of action and I'm certain I've played the same fish at both stakes, so considering that it's a sample of 200x 1ks and 800x 200-500$ I'm fairly sure it's just variance, actually I've played more regs in 500$ games than in 1k$ this week..

Not going to lie, I feel terrible.

Meh I'm sure you've been through worse, tomorrow's another day and if you run below tomorrow too, the day after is a new day... etc

Didn't want to but decided to take the day off, mind was drifting while trying to play, confidence has taken a hit.. might still play a 4-5h evening session though.

Spent day with friends from hometown, needed a break anyway.

Sidenote: I know I often post a lot of close to no-content posts in these threads of mine even if I haven't played that day but I usually look through them all at the end of the month to see how many days I didn't play and why, so bear with me back on grind tomorrow I hope.

No shame to take a day off when variance hits you so hard imo
