Hello guys too keep me motivated and my fellow peer we have decided to put up a profit race for this december. Having not played full time this year (and not really last years) I feel this is a good thing to spice up things.

He is a regular sng/mtt player low stakes/med stakes I will be playing the same stakes as well mixing in zoom cash games up to nl 100 mostly (nl 200 in rare cases). We are both supernova and cash rebates (e. rakeback) will be added to the tally

Will keep my process updated in this thread with some mtt binks hopefully and zoom

couple of days into the month I'm $1439+ in the green while he is $230+

#1 First update

Was going to update sooner but been busy at the tables and with other stuff. Christmas is a very hectic time like well know



sng/mtt graph for the month so far. Been doing fine I guess, sngs picking up after slow start, love the new 27 player on demand which I used to grind on ftp back in the days

Have had two 2nd and 3rd place finishes in the 44$ progressive deep KO early bird on stars, really good structure in that one. Should have finished yesterdays tournament out tbh but happy nevertheless

Been playing on stars for the most part but also on 888 and Pokerstars.fr will add some partypoker and winamax hopefully soon

Yes what can I say been running absolutely terrible at the cash game tables since the start of the month, should focus more on playing on weekends though as games are softer but funny thing is most of the downswing have come at nl50, I think my style works better at nl 100 zoom which I like playing more I need to adapt and adjust I guess too the nl 25 & 50 a bit, players have a lot of leaks and strange tendencies in those stakes with not able to fold a single hand so shouldn't be that hard to adjust and start running better



Cash games 2016






Def going to be a tough task to manage 10k but still doable. If it weren't for cash games I would be 3k$+ and on a pace sort of. Closing in on 300$ in rakeback soon and some good run hopefully, will have to take some days off in December of course due holidays. Planning to play a bit today, like the morning-mid day schedule. I guess to manage this I have to bink a 3-5k$ score at some point probably might try to play on some sundays but haven't done that for a long time now as I always have family stuff on sundays, we'll see

As far for my fellow grinder he has had a **** month so far running badly but +208$ in profit last time I heard

Had three final tables on the 10.12. 27$ KO on 888 for 3rd (150+ bounties), final tabled the 44$ progressive 6k gtd for the third time this week bowing out in 9th for 100$ + bounties and 7th place finish in the 30€ turbo on FR for 117€ (made a bad call on river with 1010 where I lost most of my stack) on a board of 8-7-8-3-5 where I raised preflop utg and barreled two streets before he donk jammed into me on river on (81k into 117k pot) I had 175k on river. I mean no one bluffs in that spot but people on Pokerstars.FR makes all sorts of weird lines that don't make sense so was def harder getting away then usual, still a fold though

Won 235$+ overall

Lost a bit yesterday, mostly played zoom nl50 and nl 100 then couple of mtts before taking most of the day off (woke up early and had an early session)
Was 6-8 tabling for the most part and played 8429 hands resulting in -385$.
Lost 7.4 bi's at nl 100 but won 8.5 bi's at nl 25 lol.

Going to look at some hands and go over the session before I start today's session which will mostly be sngs/mtts. Def didn't run well at nl 100 (-462$ under ev) but spewed too much there and was too loose in a lot of spots. Red line was way down at nl 100 but well up on nl50 so wasn't taking the best approach, wasn't playing my A game at all so should have quit at some point.

Month is 1.768$+ as for now but closing in on a 400$ rakeback. Hopefully will today be a good day so we can be as close to the pace as possible

Been fine past 2 days since update


Won a 22$ deepstack on 888 for 550$ and a 3r 180 for 465$
Final tabled the 44$ progressive for the third time this month bowing out in 9th for 145$ total.

Session: 969$+

Played today and final tabled the 82 bounty builder. Came in short and managed to get 6th not too bad given that I was very short. Cashed for 654$+bounties, that was the only worth mentioning today had some semi deep runs on 888 and pokerstars.fr but came short of any significant prize money

Profit so far in December:


7k to go and still doable. I've lost 1,6k in Zoom this month so would be on pace if it weren't for that. Still 2 days to go before half of the month, won't being able to play my daily schedule tomorrow due personal duties but might play at some point.

I find it helpful to go over hands that stand out in the sessions were I spew or played a hand badly to help me, I'm a pretty big mass tabler (always been) and in todays games that is a leak, I miss some information on the tables and it's a lot harder to cope with against better guys in 50-100$+ mtt's so I need to stop regging at some point if I get stacks in those, Made some mistakes lately in some mtts due the factor I didn't have no timebank
