Ya I have always heard that it is good to have a cut off time for eating for the day. I choose 6pm as it suits my current life schedule, usually in bed by midnight at the latest and up by 8am normally.

Im always open to hear new ideas so if Grammen1985 wants to give his opinion ITT I think that would be great

Havent been playing much yet today, got errands to run in a bit so probably wont hit the tables hard for a couple hours

Definitely want to start posting more hands to get opinions on how i played, im gonna to do a HH review from my last few sessions tomorrow and see what i can come up with.

GLGL at the tables all.

Finally, the weekend!!! have been slacking a little in cash games and need to put in some serious volume this weekend. Still liking the Double or Nothngs on bovada. they are a great bankroll boost for sure.

Since I put $ on BCP I have come to realize that a HUD is ubber important and it is such a 180 from the anon bovada. I still like playing bovada but may put in more volume on BCP.

Graphs to follow later today or tomorrow but wanted to pot a few hands this morning

Hand 1:

*****I have no idea why i cant post HH from WPN here? The hand was imported to PT4 and when i paste it in the HH converted it doesnt work says there is a formatting error. Will post when i figure out whats up.

Happy grinding out there everyone

Isn't your BCP name on the top of your chart? May want to remove that if you want to withhold it.

On the Bovada hands I hands 1 and 2 are standard and I don't think I'm getting away from hand 3 either unless I had played with the guy for awhile at the table and at Bovada I think I play it the same all day long.

Well well, been about a week since my last update. Mainly because I have not put in hardly any volume in the past week. (well last 4 days for sure). Had some stuff IRL that took precedent over clicking buttons on the interwebz. My dad had heart surgery on Friday. I drove him to the hospital at 6am and had to wait it out at the hospital for about 12 hrs before I could see him. Thankfully he pulled thru just fine and he was released yesterday. Im so thankful that he didnt have to have open heart surgery but rather a heart ablation. Certainly not minor surgery but not as severe as other heart procedures.

So today I'm traveling back home with my dad. (hospital is about 2 hrs away from home) so probably wont put in much volume today. Im currently on spring break from college so this upcoming week is going to be the most I have played well ever. I want to put in at least 15k hands in the next week.

Tomorrow before my session I want to update total bankroll and progress on my goals for the month of march.

I dont want this thread to die so I will keep updating as to keep motivated. gotta get my grind on.

GLGL on the virtual felt today all

Some pictures from my time down in Minneapolis (had lots of time waiting for my dad to get out of surgery). I could get to the market thru a skyway that connected right to the hospital.

Been playing more on BCP than Bovada recently, not playing big stakes because I want to keep my BRM rules as posted earlier ITT. The fact that I started with only a $50 BR on BCP means I had to stretch my rules to play 5nl but now i feel comfortably safe to play 5nl and possible mix in 10nl if the tables look good.

All BCP hands to date: (slacking on volume)

          Spoiler:

          Spoiler:

I would really appreciate if anyone could look at my stats and give my opinions of my play. I know i need to raise more pf and step up my aggression level but I don't think I am playing too bad. Running a little below EV but no big deal.

I am definitely becoming a HUD snob lol. I feel it takes my game to the next level in terms of plays I wouldn't ordinarily make. I think on Bovada I need to start playing ABC poker and don't try any thing fancy especially at the micro stakes. This has tended to be my problem but I have recognized it and will can it.

Anyway I felt the need to update the thread and I will posy again later after i get all my bovada hands converted and imported

Volume is the key. This is going to have to be my mantra. I need to put in more hands on a weekly basis plain and simple. If I play anything less than 10k hands in a 7 day span I will see that as a failure. So...with that being said I am going to show you my current graphs completely up to date for both bovada and BCP. I am obviously not satisfied with my volume, but am going to put in the work.

          Bovada graph the last week:

As you can see I put in pathetic volume in the past week, but pretty good results. Mainly this came from a shot at 100nl where I saw some great cards but also put in some good play imo.

So I will start to grind zone 25nl, a game I originally despised but have developed a fairly good strategy imo, as well as putting in some mtts in the schedule

            End of month wrap up

Well the first month of my blog/challenge thread is in the books. This is going to be a good time to look at my results, reflect, check my goals for the month, and set new goals.

Without even looking at my results for the month I know I MUST increase my volume. Cash games and mtt's. I didn't play as much as I wanted, or expected to. I have more time for poker now than ever before and I need to take advantage of that. I have said it before ITT but sometimes I have trouble firing up a session, but once I get going I am fine.

Another thing I want to start doing is have a more regimented poker schedule.
I know some ppl schedule out there entire day/week and I dont want to go that far but for sure schedule time specifically for poker.

Welp the start of April has been terrible in the poker world for me. I haven't lost any money, I actually made a little messing around at 2/4 limit on bovada hahaha.

I don't have a particular reason, but I haven't been playing at all, maybe like 1k hands on bovada and BCP combined this month IDK if it's lack of motivation or what....but I have been in a poker funk the past week.

Although I haven't played on bovada or BCP I have been playing a little on some BTC sites. I have been involved heavily in BTC in the past but have shied away as of late because of the uncertainty factor of cryptocurrency in general. I was fortunate enough to make a little $$$ with the big jump in BTC a few months ago. I actually only kept 2 btc of the 10 I bought at $120. (Sold some in the $600 range!!!)

Anyway I played Seals with Clubs for the first time in months and a couple very small BTC sites. The smaller sites have actually been more profitable because of massive overlays made about .5 btc last couple days so not entirely disappointed there.

I have been slacking on my health goals as well I am losing weight but haven't been doing my time on the treadmill. Again IDK if it is just lack of motivation or what but I am making an effort starting today to kick it up both poker wise and life wise!!!!!!! LETS GO

Gonna play a bunch today and get in some treadmill. As a punishment for a ****ty start to the month (not monetarily but motivation) I am going to do some sort of giveaway between $5-10 today.

Thats right free money incoming!!!!!!! I just havent thought of a way to do this. A contest maybe?

Any1 got any input? any1 reading this at all? lol

I am going to do some sort of contest today where the winner will be receiving $10 from me on Black Chip Poker. This serves a dual purpose perhaps.. punish me for not playing enough(or at all) and maybe get some ppl to read this thread.

Any suggestions on a good giveaway contest lemme know what ur thinking otherwise ill post a bit later with details

            GLGL at the tables

Best of luck to you man! Nice thread as well, that was a pretty good first month.

As for the problem with putting in volume, this is something that I struggle with also. I seem to spend more time reading threads on 2P2 and watching poker videos than I do actually playing.

I'm guessing that being a full time student makes it hard to put in as much volume as you like. I'm sure things will get better for you in terms of poker and fitness come summer break since you'll have more time to work with.

GL for the rest of April!

Hey man I really appreciate the response Gotta get that volume in but sometimes I'm just not feeling like i'll bring my A game to the tables and I dont want to push myself to play when I'm not feeling up to it. I know it sounds kinda ridiculous but any grinder knows the mental toll a long sessions can take on you. I really want to read The Mental Game of Poker. I have heard nothing but good things about it and I want to change my frame of mind in regards to my outlook on poker.
