Thank you! Anything between 5-12 which is a matter of action and juicyness(?) of the games--> more fish equals more tables. My states are very table dependent, but my standard stats for a unknown table is probably something like 20/16/5. From what I have heard and seen I think being coached by a very good coach and study groups with either better players or players on a similar level is the quickest and best way forward - I haven´t recieved any coaching or participated in a study group, cause I am lasy dumbass But I would be very interested in some coaching at the moment.

The way that I have studied has been by watching a video on deucescracked/ reading an article whilst I note the most important information and store it in my "library" in onenote. Then I will gradutately try to incoperate the advices and information that I have recieved from the videos/articles into my play and improve.

Today: I lost AK vs AQ for a huge stack with 40 left in a 17.000 guaranteed and lost some huge pots right in the end - Lost a 400bb pot to a one outer, but that is the beauty and the ugly of this goddamn game.

20/16/5 seems to be quite nitty in general. Do you find that a nitty style works better in the micros because of the rake? Or do you think that playing tight and just value betting the nuts against weak competition is all that is needed? Thanks and Gl this weekend!

20/16/5 is just my default nitty play when playing an unknown table, because I try to handselect better hands according to position than the common villain at micros will. For instance to begin with I might only play something like 8% of all hands out the of sb and 10% out of UTG, mean while I will play something like 30-40 out of btn and CO to use position in my favour(?). And thereby use aggression postflop, position and the better hands to valuebet / semibluff people of their better hands / capitalize upon the mistakes our opponents make postflop. Then after the inital hands and when I get a feel of who is playing awful or semiweak (and of course in which way are their play awful - passive, too aggro, etc.) or realize that a regular has some leaks, I of course adjust my stats accordingly to isolate etc.

For the past two days I have been really hungover after I failed on saturday and got way too drunk, to be honest then I can´t really remember what happened after the clock hit 0:00... Sigh...

Played a little HU at .25/50 against a huge fish and won 2 bi -

Hopefully I will put in some real volume tomorrow and stop being a crybaby

Gl to everyone

Gl with your grind.

To use hand converter:

Find hand in Hem database (you can use sessions tab)

Right click on hand and select 'copy hand to clipboard'

then in reply box on 2p2 click on hand history converter and right click paste

thats how i do it, might be easier way but works for me

I can´t find the exact stats on the villain but if my memory isn´t completely ****ty; Villain is a reg at these stakes playing fairly aggro postflop, but he has a big leak which is that he floats to many none nutty hands and gets punished when he hits the 3nd nuts etc. (think his fold to cbet on the flop and turn was like 35, 50 or something like that)

So on the flop I am valuebetting against his callingrange of hands such as overpairs, 67xx, weak flushdraws and a few 4x,3x ( he isn´t terrible, so I am not expecting his range to include many 2,3,4.)

On the turn I am bascially betting for the same purpose as on the flop - I am of course folding to any aggression from his part.

The river is a interesting card as my hand goes from a valuehand to a bluffhand, because it hits his range, but also will reveal his hand --> I am excepting him to check back 67xx, 46xx and most of his overpairs (he checks these hands back, because of the flush completed) so bascially he is betting a large portion of hands that (he) can´t not call a c/r (c/r river on PLO 20 is very polarizing) with such as weak/semiweak flushes, bluffs and few value hands such as boats etc.
= c/r profitable

Today it is friday!

Ups in my last post I can see that I have written; hands that can´t call a c/r..... such as.... boats. Boats are of course snapcalling a c/r - just so that we are clear

I just threw in a short session after a workout and some studying:

The last couple of days I have been too busy to opdate, but I have still been playing some and studied.

Today was a ratio (90:10) between plo20 and some juicy Plo50:

It was also nice to see that plo50 regs are only slightly better at adjusting to your play than plo20 regs. At least the regs who was on my table.

            Hey,
You seem to be very rookie in hold em, I will not speak about omaha. But I don't see why people are saying you should move up in levels, when in actuality you should be studying.
            Notes:
Protect your flop, I am not certain about your first hand in omaha, but you want to bet the flop to protect your hand from potential draws, you are not sly if you want to lure him in with overpair ( a weak hand in omaha), give him the wrong odds to call, don't give him a free card like you did.
Raise stronger, don't minraise, don't minraise, don't minraise. The lowest possible raise I can think of is 2.5BB in the second phase of a sitngo (13-23BB), if you miniraise with a goodo pocket pair like JJ you are just giving him right odds to call and you are making the decision to go all in with overpair harder. If you are going to go all in with overpair the hand should have been either 3betted or you shouldn't have a deepstack.
I am going to let the fact that you raised with K7 slip because you were in SB. But remember, being folded to SB in a 9 player game doesn't mean you should play the hand like you would play a Heads up, play tighter.

I hope I haven't misguided you. I am no pro, but I hope this helps you encourage you to seek more training.

Thanks for the input. I agree my holdem game as does my PLOgame leaves a lot to be desired (which ill work on) and you have chosen probably some of the worse hands that I have ever played. But you forget / haven´t read that it was played in HUsng not a 9handed game which leaves your analysis without a lot of meaning. I didn´t minraise at anypoint? and do you expect anybody to fold JJ to 2.5BB raise pre with 13BB-25BB? In regards to studying more I have studied +50 hours of PLO this month, since I am only playing PLO. In the first hand PLO: My hand has some backdoor draws, but no immediate value and I am likely to be blown of my hand to a c/r (and only have about 28% equity against his c/r range), so betting would not be ideal. And thanks for encouragement I will try to seek more training

I have just returned from work and will hopefully play a lot later and update! So see you later

I am sorry I have seemed to misread, I thought that raise 120$ meant raise to 120$. I sense this is a mixed heads up.
The only thing I can say for sure is that the 3rd hand (10,10) was played horribly.
Firstly. That flop is just horrible to make a continuation bet. Won't say much but there is an ace and a King on the flop, check.
Second. If he didn't fold to your cbet he won't fold to this 2nd barrel. (UNLESS he was going for straight or flush, in which case, check to showdown, don't bet)
You were probably trying to represent the 4 but an ace will still call and a king is likely to call it too since your bet is small and shows weakness. In any case, if you bet, you want him to fold his king, if he raises FOLD. Calling his raise makes no sense, do you have any doubt that you are beat?
and the shove on the river is even worst because all you are doing is making hands that you beat fold and making hands that beat you call. I can assure you that an Ace will call here. You are only making Kings fold. Checking/calling is 100% better, making him fold his kings is not worth it, but checking/folding is even better.
In short, recognize when you are beat, don't bluff compulsively and check the turn to keep a pot small.

No problem again thanks for the input, and we are in complete agreement over that hand, it was also why I wrote "Here comes the stupidity-train"; to show some hands that I played terribly.
