Just won everything back that i lost earlier playing some crazy spanish guy at 25/50. he started off as a shortstack won loads of little all ins then he stayed full stack and i raped him. As i was f tilt earlier i deleted pokertracker 3 so dont have any hand histories theres some good ones too. and now i have just bought holdem manager with omaha. i'm gunna learn omaha. could just import the hands into holdem manager actually hmm too tired might do tomorow.

don't know what the next few days will bring, might not play online till after DTD tournament.

total roll for now: £52k

i get tilted when i lose a few hundred too.... i think its pretty normal. only thing u should focus on though is playing your A game at all times. obviously i dont do this but its what you should be focusing most energy on imo.

monney comes and goes i hate losing but its not the money i hate losing its more the fact i know i could be winning and can beat someone but im still losing. it depends what ur goals are in poker as to how relaxed you should feel about money. if you wanna get to the top u gotta take some shots i guess but if u just want to grind it out its different.

UPDATE:

won quite a bit so i did import the hands afterall

Last two days: played ok not as well as i should of ran hot

sick ****... Seems like your a really skilled player who beat the highstakes games!

Kinda sad the way you handle BRM tho.. I mean I'm all for aggro BRM, but if you do that you HAVE to move down when you loose or you will just go broke every single downswing you have. I might be wrong but it seems like that sums up your career so far?

This is great entertainment and don't mistake me for the guy preaching "withdraw everything and start from NL50!!" - obv. you have way to massive balls to fit at those small tables

Oh, and what happens when you make the 100k?

Haha so funny how you selfban yourself every week and plan to grind 1/2 and next day you gonna play 50/100.

Really enjoyed reading this thread! Wish you best of luck. Life is an adventure!

edit:

btw manu or mancity?

Don't do PLO. It's really not a good idea for you and I take it you're not going to learn it at the micros and spend a lot of time with it.

yea that is pretty much how it's gone so far but i think now i am a lot less degen than before as in i do actually just quit after losing sometimes then grind lower the next day. before anytime i lost i insta tried to win it back. still do this a bit but not quite as bad. when im playing 50/100 now i'm pretty much leaving if i lose my buy in and leaving also after i've won a bit and start losing the momentum.

HMMM, if i get to £100k then i dunno i'd like to think i'll put it away for savings but really i think i'll try keep going whilst not dropping below the £100k mark. i promised my mum i would have £100k in my bank from something before i was 18 she thought i was joking and i obv failed. so now i will show her when i'm 21

lol yea thanks, i wonder how much time i've wasted making plans about grinding the 1/2 then not doing it

close one between man u and man city, not a big football fan and man u always win and man city are rich now. i think i'll choose man city just because i can't ever imagine being a man u supporter. arsenal are the most interesting team i've watched recently i think

was on f tilt when i played all of those so obviously they will be pretty bad. found it funny winning them all in a row would be brutal to lose them all!

i will be getting someone to coach me the plo's soon

update: took a £5k shot at 50/100 from the £75k and lost. back up to £72k total so far.

This is an awsome thread dude, Im a low level guy and i have the same tendancies in terms of playing underolled because the money lower kinda doesnt have the value. But i think knowing someone out there is doing similar (i have zero to my name in cash ive been busto so many times coz i cant handle anything under €100nl hu and its hard saving a roll from work lol) and actually making bank is great. this is my fav thread on 2+2 ever and im always reading and following with good hopes u do well, but who cares about me its all bout u bro, so you have my hopes in getting good luck and not going on a downswing so keep it up.

Always following this thread

Don't turn to the dark side, PLO is the worst, most brutal game ever!

Go back to holdem while you still can!

nice one dude, gl, im also doing criminology but at plymouth uni. So many of the things you said I just think yeah thats happened to me, built a roll from about £100 ($150) to $3200 at 200NL and blew it all on 2/4NL and 3/6NL, and cant afford to play at those limits now cos of accomodation fees which my loan doesnt even cover -.- Hopefully be like you one day though, really inspiring to start playing again and ill be following you in the future, once again good luck dude

DTD and UKIPT storys from yesterday:

Got there half an hour late cus i was up till 4am the night before trying to wash some clean clothes in our terrible washing machine. woke up an hour late for setting off and got there very tired it started at 12pm and took 2 hours to drive there.

Started with 15k chips got up to 50 - 60k sucking out value betting and bluffing the live donks and pros. Then about half way through the day 4 hands happened in a row that were pretty hilarious...

1st hand i have Q8s i open BB calls. Flop J72 two hearts he checks i bet he raises i RE RAISE to about 16k so its a pretty big pot. he thinks for ****ing AGES AND AGES it was really tilting and very pointless. Infact he kept doing it making big bets then when someone did anything he had to think for hours and waste our time. nice one. so he finally shoves i snap fold ldo.

very next hand i get KK open then smallish stack shoves and has AA i lose.

very next hand i'm UTG with about 25k chips blinds 400/800 i get 7 2 off i open shove everyone folds and i show.

very next hand i'm BB. UTG live pro nit opens everyone folds i insta shove 5 7 off from BB knowing he's gunna call. He snaps with AA and i just have him covered. Board, 5 7 9 J K LOL i win.

Then i play tight for a while again with my stack back.

With about 2 hours left a new guy comes to our table i decide to bluff him all my chips with 10 2 on a A 8 10 J 7 board he calls after absolutely ages again i just muck dunno what he had but it beat me!

Highlight of the day: Saw Vicky Coren walking up to DTD like a boss man smoking a ciggy

I definelty wasn't prepared for this tourny as if i would of stayed in on day 2 i had no where to sleep last night. forgot my wash bag and **** too so glad i came home.

Next time i go i will be rested, i'll book hotel, i'll get there early, i'll have eaten food, i'll be prepared to sit there for 14 hours and fold, i'll bring lots of cash for the cash games if i bust out.

Just won £2k on boss, they said on monday (tomorow) i can withdraw all my money finally SHIPPP

You are clearly a sick degen and playing you like you do will probably mean you bust sooner rather than later.

However... this thread is quite entertaining.

Do you hit and run everyone at high stakes?
02-14-2011 , 01:37 AM
No more tournys bro lol lets get back to the cashhhhhhhhhhh mayyne. Lets crush dem foo's been waiting for some more cash updates and some good hands
