so missed volume yesterday, thought it might be good to go out so only played 1k and 3.5k today, still on pace for 100k but probably running the worse ive run in a while, im not going to turn this into a whine thread though cause ive got my mental game intact.

def feel like im playing well, but just seem to not win at showdown

also a good friend and very good midstakes reg went through my database for the last few days and there is no major spew or punts and im really happy about that.

im currently down 2.4k for the month and around 1.2k under ev, im still not worried though, will still try bring my A-game tomorrow and just try play through it.

might even consider dropping down to 50 for a bit, we'll see though.

so had my first winning day for the month which was nice, ended in a slight downswing but thats fine, i had position on a very loose recreational player in my last session but unfortunately couldnt convert his chips to currency and came out behind, gg to him.

not much else to say, think i played well, went over a few spots today, realising how much i dont know and how much edge is still to be gained vs weaker regs.





honestly there were no real amazingly interesting hands in terms of big pots, there were a few hands where i took funky lines vs regs as bluffs that id like to post but really hate giving away
information

so i missed out yesterday on any volume, literally was so drained that i just needed a rest day, i did do some work on a reg who has been giving me trouble and watched a few videos so wasnt a totally wasted day.

didnt put much volume in today, im above pace which im pretty happy about and almost rostucko but dont want to pay attention to that.

played ok today, think i missed out on a few spots and made some folds im not sure about that ill review tomorrow.

i did add in some zoom today only because i literally could not get any action in non-peak hour time, the best game was literally 3 good regs 1 breakeven reg and a recreational player who could probably beat up 10nl for a few good bb/100.

i think i will start adding in more fullring games, most likely zoom but we will see how it goes, have been trying to mix in fr for the last few months but i feel like i might not be beating it for as much as i would in 6m so have sorta stayed away.

erhhh crappy day yesterday, lost some money, got coolered in all the big pots bar one or two. think i played okisshhh, think being down makes me feel worse about certain plays i made which is pretty silly, if i was up 6bi i would of def said i played well so, i guess ill stick with that


sorta losing a bit of motivation cause im still stuck for the month, but thinking alot about it last night, i think id rather ds at the start of the month then upswing, mainly because i find it way harder to put in volume when im already up then if im down, pretty significant mental game leak but i just love to wrap up the win for the month when im already up, so i guess im pretty lucky to be on a downswing because it will allow me to play way more hands for the month and hopefully end the month in profit.

so, reason for not updating is because ive sorta had a little break for tuesday/wed, think it was good, my brain is working again which is always good. though i am off pace and need to play 4k/day to make my goal, which i think i could probably do but im more focused on just getting into the green more than anything, which i think is good and bad.

will see how it goes, will make sure i do daily updates until the end of the challenge.

So another tough day at the office, i probably spewed a few bi, maybe, in spots where it was close. honestly dont feel like im playing bad at all, had a talk to some guys who i respect a ton and they said its likely just variance, im not 100% confident in my game at this present time, but ill just consider this a test on my mental attributes, i guess ill just keep doing my best to lose the minimum on my "ds", i guess thats another form of edge right?

not trying to call anyone out or moan about my runbad, but im certain any other reg at my level (bar the top %) would of probably lost a bit more than i have on this stretch, im still breakeven in ev, which means i could of easily been up 2k for the month, i need to forget about the results and just keep focusing on good solid decisions.

im quite certain i will not be able to make 100k hands by the end of the month, its not my most important goal at this moment, in saying that i should pretty easily get 80k and that would be my personal best month in terms of volume.

i will still be updating this thread, but this is much harder than i thought itd be, i guess we will just see what unfolds for the next 14days.
