Many people decided to set such goal but only small number of people managed to achieve 10 000$ starting with nothing.

I will descrbe my way to 10 000$ on this blog. I have some poker experience, however my bankroll was never even close to 10k. I played mainly FL cash games on Pokerstars and occassionally MTT and SNG. I have never played NL which I intend to play for the most part of this challenge. Certainly, there wll be a lot of learning on the way to 10k as I am a complete rookie when it comes to NL SH.

I will firstly play freerolls on FTP along with the play money games (I have seen websites on which it is possible to sell play money, so this may be a good start for my bankroll in case of bad luck in freerolls). Then I will play lowest FL FR games just to build up a bankroll a little bit more and if I will have about 50$ I will start playing lowest NL SH games.

I won 2$ in the freeroll, so I don't have to play play money games anymore (although it may happen that I will have to return to playing play money and freerolls).

From 2$ won in freeroll I was up to 14$ playing fixed limit. Now my bankroll is 8$. I was lucky to get a huge upswing at the beginning and although I lost some money I think I'm running hot overall. I have a winrate of 11BB/100. It is 0.05/0.10 FL both FR and SH. I also played Rush on Demand tournament for 1.10$ and I ended up 15 for 2.66$ - it's a huge disappointment for me as I was a chip leader and got knocked out due to my stupid mistake...

But let's leave the past, now about the future - I'm going to keep playing lowest FL games and if my bankroll is above 10$ I'm allowed to play Rush on Demand for 2.20 (2 entries). This way I hope to be able to survive with some real money and at the same time give myself a chance to boost my bankroll.

Bankroll still goes up and down - it was at most 18$, then down to 6$ and now 11.5$. I'm doing what I planned - Rush SNGs if I have more than 10$ and FL in another case.

I feel like I'm running terrible in SNGs - I usually get to the money, but I had only 1 FT! I had the biggest stack but then two hands killed me: my AA vs KK with K on flop and one hand later my QQ vs. JJ and J on flop and I'm out. I know I will start winning such hands at some point!

Just a quick update to set a plan for the next weeks.

Rush SNGs are not working for me right now! The sample is very small but playing them feels like pure gambling now. It's not good for my mindset and I am confident that there are other ways to build my bankroll. So till I get to 50$ no MTTs and SNGs!

Now my bankroll is down to about 3$. I will keep playing 0.05/0.10 FL hoping that the luck will help me a bit From 15$ on, I will gradually add 0.10/0.20 tables and from 20$ I will play exclusively 0.20 tables. If my bankroll goes down to 10$ - I play only 0.10 tables.

With 40$ bankroll I will move to NL2 SH and then I will make a new plan for that part of the challenge.
