What is the correct play (1/2/3/10 NL)? What is the correct play (1/2/3/10 NL)?

Played an uncapped game of 1/2/3/10 the other day. Everybody agreed to constant $10 straddle.

UTG+2: V1 ($423) - Unknown, late 50s WF, no history
SB: Hero ($1,430) - Low-stakes (1/2, 1/3) regular, mid 30s AM
UTG/Straddle: V2 ($553) - Low-stakes regular, late 20s WM, has history, loose/aggressive losing player

-Game had been going on for about 60 minutes, no major action so far
-No history with V1
-V2 knows Hero is quite tight

Preflop:
UTG+1 calls $10
V1 raises to $30
Hero (64) calls $30
V2 3! to $70
UTG+1 folds, V1 calls, Hero calls

Flop ($224): TT2
Hero checks, V2 bets $80, V1 calls, Hero calls

Turn ($464): TT2A
Hero checks, V2 checks
V1 bets $200

Hero action?

Some notes/questions:
1. Initial flop call was due to expectation that BB, Straddle, UTG+1 would all flat behind (based on table dynamics). I think folding or 3! pre is usually correct but I was going for either smashing or ejecting the flop. Once squeezed, I considered folding for $40 more due to shallow stacks of V1 and V2 but ultimately found a call with >4:1 odds.
2. V1 has approx. $200 behind
3. I discounted V2 as having a hand by the Turn.
4. Interested to hear what action to take and what V1 can have here.

Thanks.

Hit your flush, V1 has $73 left, V2 has $403 left, so AI. Hope it worked out.

Pre - fold twice, not deep enough to play suited gappers from oop.

This is a pretty easy fold pre facing an EP raise. Playing to smash the flop is what every fish is trying to do and thus not a good strategy.

Agreed that folding is correct.

However, table was still soft at the time. I was expecting to go to the flop 4-5 ways (BB (might fold), Straddle (never fold), UTG+1 (never fold), UTG+2).

really need to consider folding this from the SB.

I get what you're saying and flatting this IP isn't the end of the world if we're going to widen our PF range.

Being OOP the entire hand makes this MUCH harder to become a profitable play.

Agreed that folding is correct.

As played:

Turn ($464): TT2A
Hero checks, V2 checks
V1 bets $200
Hero all-in.
V2 folds
V1 tanks, folds and shows 97

Got super lucky.

How often does V1 have AXc and is making a $200 bet on the turn?

Does AXc just check behind on turn?

As the pf raiser and being a late 50s WF, I did not expect her to have 97 in her opening range.

I understand that your pot odds increase as more people enter the pot but your equity goes down. A lot of people entering the pot doesn’t make calling weak hands OOP vs the entire table profitable. The “but I was getting great pot odds” logic that you often hear at the table is bad logic.

You played everything perfectly post-flop. Gotta call flop with the flush draw and good pot odds, turn your opponent can easily be betting a ten strong to protect against 4th clubz Top pair with a good club kicker might also do this so it’s a must jam. Can’t call $200 and leave them with $200 behind because they’ll play perfectly against you on the river and they’re pot committed pretty much anyways so you should get crying calls from some tens and good club draws.

Crazy they showed you a folded flush there. Don’t ever show that, super exploitable.

asking whether you should gii after hitting your flush at this stack depth is self indulgent nonsense
