Hero has about $850 to start. Has been most active pre the last 30-40 hands, with a lot of my raises being UTG, so probably looking a bit laggy after getting caught on a bluff or two, except that I haven't really had any opportunities whatsoever to 3b since I'm getting all my hands in EP.
V starts with about $1400 and is moderate aggression pre and heavy agro post. Has had a handful of double/triple barrels and mostly winning showdowns. Seems like a good player and has done a competent job of running a few passive/nit players over.
Hero raises UTG+2 with AA to $20. V, to my immediately left, quickly 3bets to $45. I'm having a hard time understanding whether this is an iso raise with AK/AQ or a value raise with KK (or even the 1 remaining combo of AA). I think 88-QQ makes it bigger but I digress.
It folds around and I decide to flat the raise OOP. I think a 4b here looks too strong and I'm thinking KK shows up here often enough that I'd rather give this guy some rope with his aggressive play.
Flop ($97) is Q74 rainbow. I check and V bets $75. This was my first decision point, and I think I'd often check-raise here but this guy was so agro that I decided to flat and figure I'd check-raise the turn if he fired again.
Turn is a 2, completing the rainbow. Check/check.
River ($247) is a Q
This is where I couldn't make my mind up. Should I lead river for value and get called by 88-JJ? If I lead for value, am I calling any shoves since I block AQ? Could a fairly agro V 3b so small with KQ? Do I check to induce?
I've thought about the hand for a while and still haven't made my mind up.
