Villain is very spewy loves to see flops and has a wiiiide range. basically any suited cards and will raise 22+ JTo+, has alot of money but isnt very good

Hero been at table to 1/2 hour no PFR and only limped once, been card dead.

Hand 1:
Hero (button) $300
Villian (MP) $covers

5 limpers to Hero on button who raises to $20 with Kj
EP limper calls V1 calls

Flop qj9

Ep checks V1 donks $30 Hero calls Ep folds

Turn 2

check check

River Q

V1 bets $75

Hero????

Hand 2:

Hero (CO)$400 66
V1 (MP) $500

2 limpers to V1 who bets $15
Hero calls
1 Ep limper calls

FLOP: akk

EP checks V1 bets $25
Hero calls $25 thinking that AK is such a small part of his range and he most likely missed, and is cbetting
EP folds

heads up

Turn j

V1 checks Hero checks

River 9

V1 bets $55

I really felt like he hit a jack or a 9 but couldnt tell why he would bet if he had SDV, when I was most likely checking.

Hand 1, raise flop. You have a ton of equity in this hand.

Bet turn, you have a ton of equity in this hand.

Bluff catcher on the river. To be honest, I don't know if you should call here. Draws missed, but he could have a queen. I'm leaning toward a call.

Hand two: muck flop. Muck river. He usually shows up with an ace here. Turn check meant he was afraid you had a king.

in hand 2 If I dont think he hit that board can I still call the flop with my underpair if I dont plan on betting or calling the turn?

Hand 1 I like raising the flop. We have a huge hand, GS, over, FD, mid pair good kicker. His donkbet could be anything; and we have fold equity along with a hand that does fine even against the top of his range.

I fold the river bet since a donk was probably somehting like Qx. Don't see a loose passive donking hands we beat OTR.

Hand 2: fold, fold fold fold. He could be "bluffing" a better hand here. You have worse than a bluff catcher imo. Don't level yourself into a call here because this is burning money, even bluffy players can have it. If he bluffing he still has the best hand like 50% of the time anyways! Such a -ev call its not even funny

hand 1:

i tanked and called and he said good call and didnt show.

hand 2:

I folded to the river bet he showed me pocket JJ

So i guess my call in hand 2 was terrible as the only card I wanted to see was a 6 or under.

Hand 1 he gave you a good price to bluff catch, and its probably the correct call if hes not a nit.

+1 tbh this is the worse call ive heard in a while

Broadway semi bluff got there, Jx is bluffing and has thebest hand, spazz 1010, 77, 88, anything beats hero here. Not to mention the times he has a monster, which was the case here.
