4am 2/5 at the casino. I'm drinking beer but don't appear to be drunk.

Hero - Has only been at the table for an hour or so but has been pretty aggressive and playing lots of pots. Only had 2 hands go to showdown where I had the winner.

V - Indian guy in his late 30's. Haven't seen him get to showdown and he's only won a few small pots.

A few hands ago we were involved in a hand where the board was QQ66x with 2 diamonds on the flop. I c/r the flop we both checked the turn and I bombed the river for a psb and he folded. Only history between us.

Effective stacks are $1000

2 limps to V in MP who limps in also. Hero is in cutoff with TT. I raise to $35 one limper and V make the call.

Flop - J4J - checks to V who bets $105 Hero does?

I'd call one and fold to a turn bomb. I could call a small bet on the turn.

Donk bets are usually indicative of medium value hands. In this case it could be 55-99 or a flush draw.

However, I've found pot-sized donk bets to be stronger. On a flush draw board, he could donk out pot with something like J8 or J9.

I don't think he'd bet as strongly OTT without Jx so you can fold turn if he bombs it

LOL donk bet definition. I dont like that big flop bet. Either flush draw, J or min boat. If he has balls he may bet big OTT even if he missed flush. I feel he has a Jack however.

PF I'd go a little bigger, 40-45, but this is a small detail.

Flop donk doesn't feel to great, I'm most likely folding.

I don't think he has a boat when he bets the flop. He could only have 44 and I believe there is no way he would bet into me being that I have been pretty active and putting chips in the middle.

He also doesn't seem like an idiot and didn't seem to get out of line or do anything crazy

Most people check their trips to the original raiser but often bet out with medium value hands to see where they're at. Its possible he has a Jack, but not likely compared to the rest of his range.

He's never doing this with 44 if he has a brain

And most people won't bomb the turn after we call $105 on the flop

I would like to min raise this flop donk bet a lot, will keep you from feeling as lost on the turn. Usually a worse hand will call and a Jack will raise or call and bomb turn. A draw or small pair will call and check turn.

I would call a small percentage of the time if I felt like V is going to play very faceup on turn and I can get some tells. This is going to be a tough spot but I feel like just folding TT here vs a donk bet with $1k effective is way too nitty.
