1/2

Villain has been active, but also showing down the best hand a lot. Playing with him for about 2 hours and he’s been running well, haven’t seen him showdown a bluff yet. Solid, semi-nitty 50yo who is limping quite a bit and checking sports updates on his phone when not in a hand.

2 EP limps, fold to me on button QsQc
I raise to 20
Villain calls in the BB all other fold.
I have about 300eff to start the hand and V covers

Pot: 45
Flop 10c9c7d
V checks; I cbet 30
V raises to 90
I call

Pot: 225

Turn 8h
V jams for 190 eff

Hero??

I think I played this hand well up to this point. His raise OTF could consist of combo draws, top pairs, two pairs and sets. Don’t think I can do anything but call the flop raise. What would you do here on the turn?

How are you doing against the range you just described?

You answered your own question.

There are also quite a few Jx hands that could take a x/r jam line - AcJc, KJ, QJ, JT.

Can't think of too many hands you are ahead of here, maybe Ac8c, Ac7c (which still has tons of equity).

Pretty easy fold with the described villain.

Maybe it is my inexperience that’s making this spot more difficult than it is. I folded and he showed me JJ

Cool story bro’d
