Want to post a THANK YOU for this forum and all the folks who post their ideas, strategies, discussion and advice.

I've been an on-off-on-off lurker here for 6 years ... recreation player with low to modest wins in the past, and use my winnings to pay bills, vacations, airfare, etc .... never really bothered to try to play A LOT or build a roll or anything. I used to play like 4 times a month.


But the 3-4 weeks, with winter drawing close, I've really been making an effort to lurk here and improve my game. Trying to improve and play more. This forum is invaluable for advice and thinking about hands, lines, and get me thinking about Villain's ranges more accurately.

Anyway, i'm just thrilled with how it's going.

I've played 8 sessions already in November. I know a small sample size, but since I started reading 2+2 again, I am a winner in 7 of my last 8 sessions, and my lone loss was less than half a buy in.

And last night, I had the best night in my playing career. I ran my $300 buy-in to over $1,900. I was so overwhelmed at the end of the night.

I would never have dreamed i could have a night like that. Never. And I made 3 or 4 plays from advice I read on here (that I never would have tried before), and I know I've saved myself at least $200-$250 in leaks over the 6 hrs I played.

I'm extremely grateful for all of your posts, threads, discussions and advice. Thank you guys.

congrats on the big score. perhaps post some of the plays you made from the advice you received here and explain your thought process? this would greatly benefit others as well.
