Should I have a c/f range in 3bet pots OOP? Should I have a c/f range in 3bet pots OOP?

Let's say I open with XX and an aggressive player OTB 3bets me, and I call. Both players have 100 BBs.

Should I ever c/f the flop?

I dont really think I have any hands in my range that i'm checking and then folding when i miss.

is this standard?

Read carefully, I said it "doesn't do too well." I didn't say I wasn't getting it in. Of course I am. Gotta balance all those times I crai with hands that have equity.

Huh? I said bluff, not get it in

Why are you levelling in strategy threads?

OP, if you bet someone that you could take 8 poker terms and form a coherent thought then I'd say you lost.

lf I c/r, I find there's more fold equity/less numbers crunching if I just send it all in. Also, I put aggro button 3-bettor on something stupid like AQ and I don't think he's good enough to get away from it. Next time I'll have Q9 though, and we will be twice as deep. Now do you get it?

You should eliminate check/folding from your game as much as possible. I think you gotta atleast see a turn most of the time, or just check raise a lot. Your aggression here will pay off on later hands.

Also, most flops miss most hands just probability wise. Therefore you can check raise any flop profitably here (assuming he doesn't catch on).
