Straddle is older guy but quite wild likes to play hands. Maybe but loose call even for 1bb

Hero bets 8bb
Straddle calls

Turn Q32dds 6h (28bb)
Hero bets 10bb
Straddle raises to 30bb
Hero calls

Maybe should have bet bigger here.

Can I beat anything for value here ? Or do I usually only beat a bluff

It's a trap to complete with trash in the small blind "for pot odds!" when everyone limps

Even when you flop hard, being out of position means you'll win less than you would have if you were in position. This should make you even more inclined to fold.

Just fold and get the button next hand.

Runouts and spots like this are exactly the reason why.

you beat bluffs or 'valuebluffs' i.e. guy thinks QT is the nuts. 66/45 make sense in the straddle but so does random button mashing. I'm totally ok losing 100BB with 2 pair in a 1/1 live setting.

unless villains are OMC types i c/c flop. dry board and you make more from people bluffing. its hard to hit Q32 boards esp when you have two of the cards.
