Do you just add the EV from each street for the grand total if the hand played was +ev or -ev?

do you just ad the ev from all my logged hands had them together to see if i sucky or unlucky?

You can add the EV of street by street together to see if the total hand was played in a +EV fashion I suppose.

You can also isolate the EV by street to see if it was a good/bad decision on one street.

Its really hard to know if your unlucky or just playing bad sometimes but I would just take your biggest pots and analyze them down to get a good idea.

This was a really nebulous question but I did my best.

Hi, welcome to the forum. I strongly suggest reading the threads that are stuck at the top of the forum page. There's a tremendous amount of information to turn someone into a winning LLSNL player.

It was once said that the key to life isn't knowing the right answer. It is knowing what the right question is. Unfortunately, you've missed on your question almost completely.

In LLSNL, everyone has leaks in their game, usually big ones. You need to spend all your time when evaluating your game on fixing those. The reason is that you can't do a thing about running bad. Knowing you're running bad doesn't help you. In fact, it often hurts you because many players think, "well, once I run good I'll be winning, so I don't need to do anything to improve my game." So the answer to your question is "you're sucky."

Going one step deeper on your initial question, it isn't additive, nor are most people's problems related to doing an EV calculation. It is putting people on correct ranges and knowing how to maximize their value bets. If you've heard someone say, "why are they always at the top of their range," or "I never get paid off when I hit my hand," you've met someone who has created a range that justifies what they want to do.
