Do any of you guys start at a 3x and then increase sizes w/ value hands to see where the folding threshold for a table is? Once you get consistent folds at say 8x, moved back down to 7x? I've heard about this but never tried it as I thought I'd be giving away the strength of my hand. I realized that by always sticking to 3x opens when folded to me, if theres guys that are real fishy (esp. at 1/2 NL) I feel like I'm leaving money on the table when I see a player that always calls a 5x or more w/ hands like ATo, 96s, JT and KJo. My biggest fear was the regs. would pick up on it but the thing is that most regs. at these stakes aren't that good anyway and even if they are, theres just not that many of them at any given table.

Im a winning player at 100/200nl over 500k hands at ~6bb/100 ive played NL for over 2 years im not a fkn ******.

Otb especially when folded to u, u can easily open any Ax and often any Kx profitably.

Live tho when ppl are waaay more loose still im talking my OPEN range (folded to me) OTB, a hand like A7o is decent imo.
It depends how bad the blinds are. Something we can't really do in online cash is tailor open sizes. And whilst I generally don't do it, it's probably something that can be done against huge droolers. If you 3x pre both blinds are going to call so you can do this super wide and play pots in position against their 100% preflop ranges. Obviously against their super wide defending range SCs and low pairs lose value and hands that can flop top pair gain value. You can then raise larger with stronger hands

Your game sounds extremely fishy so don't worry about protecting your range in certain spots by balancing or anything like that. Just look at each individual spot in a vacuum and make the optimal decision based on your holding vs their range even if it seems super exploitable. Even if a reg is behind you he's probably not going to try and exploit you. if the game is as good as it sounds the other regs will probably be content to just continue abusing the tards.
