What’s the weight difference? 30 pounds?

Probably 20 to 25lb weight difference I'd guess. 4 to 5 inch difference in height. Reach was virtually identical though.

In order for my Porsche to pass inspection last month I had to get a side marker bulb replaced. The shop charged me $178.67 ($167.87 in labor) to replace both side marker bulbs. However, I later discovered in the process of installing a bulb they messed up a side marker such that it wouldn't fit back in place properly.

I researched on the internet and discovered a lot of people replace those orange sidemarkers with clear ones because they look better. So I bought a couple side markers for $60. I just installed them which took me all of 5 minutes to do. Now I feel pretty accomplished yet pretty stupid for paying $167 in labor for 5 minutes of work.

I've found Porsches to be really uncomfortable. But I'm not a race car type of guy.

A couple of months ago our driveway gate stopped working so looked up gate companies on Yelp. Found one nearby and they said it needed new batteries. So said ok - they changed them for the low price of $563, including $380 for the 2 batteries and $180 labor. I paid it but when I looked up the cost of batteries on Amazon they go for $35 each Tried complaining to the company to no avail. Talk about feeling stupid

Labor is usually going to be a large chunk of any household/automotive fix. When my engine went on my Subaru they told me it was cheaper to put a brand new one in than to break down mine and find the compression issue.

Tl;dr - YouTube and Amazon everything first

I guess Leach would have to change. ML is kinda like Bernie Sanders in that he won't change his message no matter how many times he loses with it.

He didn't say it worked, although knowing JRR it probably will.

Does anyone own a Big Green Egg or Traeger or something similar?

Looking for something capable of grilling and smoking and will take any feedback.

My brother has a knock off of the BGE and seemed like a strong purchase.

I'm sure there's nothing you don't already know in here but still...it really seems that skeleton can't survive much longer as a sport

Hey FW,

Thanks for poasting that up mang. I am happy (not really but no other words) that people are coming out with their storys of how skeleton has fuct them up. I along with a growing number of others believe that this should not be an olympic sport, and hopefully the various governing bodies figure this one out sooner rather than later.

In more stoopid skwid news. Been out on the boards every day currently day 11. Aint much open but we get out for first chair and have I been opening things up a bit. Have multiple runs clocked wiff da GPS over 60mph. Should be able to nail 70 with no problem. Missing my big guns cuz I am quite sure I could do 85+ with those bad boyz.

DMW translation

Squid has firmly believed that the slidings oldest sport skeleton should not be an olympic sport as he feels that it is simply too dangerous. Numerous articles have come out detailing various athletes difficulties with traumatic brain trauma in recent years. Squid hopes that the olympic committee sees this and re-bans the sport

Skiing
squid has been out every day thus far
he has been going out very early and has been starting to let his skis run a bit more. This means larger radius non speed checking type of skiing on the limited terrain that is available
he has numerous runs above 60mph (gps verified)
he is doing this on his short skis
he believes that if he had some longer hard charging big line skis that 85+ mph is probable
he also believes that 70+mph should be a non issue on his short (180 cm) skis once some slightly steeper terrain is available
