-$27K, +$40K, -$33K.

I've gotten a lot better at handling losses but $30K losses sting quite a bit. I'd need a 7-figure roll to feel better about it and I'm not there yet.

What roll are you supposed to have in order to safely stomach $30K hits? Even if you're the best in the game in a great game (which I'm assuming is the case), isn't the danger of going busto a real concern unless you have the roll?

I can always play smaller or sell action for the same game if things get really bad. No real danger of going busto.

My EV in this game is huge and I'm trying to have a big year.

By this time next year I'll be rolling in an Audi R8 and have a really hot gf.

I don't need those to be happy (I'm happy now) but that is the direction I'm headed in.

I mean, I could buy an R8 now if I wanted to, it just wouldn't be a good decision right now so I'll hold off on that until I have more money.

The other part of it won't be too difficult either. Success attracts success.

Work mileage. My average is way down during Covid. Right now doing about 30 miles/week. Doubtful I return to traveling a lot when this ends.

I personally like to outright buy absolute steals at 3-4K and drive them until they are incapable of driving any further, then trading them in for tax-free on the next absolute steal. I don’t like the stress of 80K cars personally.
