Sorry, it must be documented.

But it looks way better than the last one I saw. Nice job man!

With the exception of the cap, the fat doesn't look rendered enough to be med-well, but I suppose it's possible. My guess is a solid medium. Cap is over, though. It is tough to be consistent there.

Try putting the ribeye on top of your car and driving around to dry it thoroughly before searing

But not too fast, though.

Normally would work but it's been rainy in LA.

Saw some insane stuff lately. One day a whale had a 10k+ stack off probably one or maybe two short stack buyins ($300?) and dusted it all. And then he dusted off 8k more. Total meltdown happened within 1.5 hours. He looked super tilted and frustrated, but he never took it out on anyone (other players/dealers)

The next day, he comes back and is in whale mode again, but he is super calm and friendly and charming. It's crazy to me that he had a nightmare super tilted session the previous day, yet he is so pleasant the very next day...

What an awesome human being. It's so rare to play poker with a guy who is so cool and friendly and with an amazing sense of humor. It doesn't hurt that he regularly doesn't mind dusting off many thousands of dollars each session.

Not sure what poker is like elsewhere, but it is a lot of fun for a serious rec semi pro to play with true gentlemen who also have a sense of humor at the table and care about the "spirit of the game."

I would say that there are about 10 or 12 or so regular players (pros, regs, recs, whales, etc.) in my player pool who are super cool humans at the table. I still have to deal with the annoying guys and the angleshooters and the scumbags, but that core group of 10 or 12 or so gentlemen who are also hilarious fun loving characters really makes playing poker fun and entertaining.

It might have been? There was a table with some Sam Adams choices, but I wasn't wasting my limited capacity on Sam Adams, and the table also had Deschutes, so I went directly to that side.

Winners of the night: Basically everything from Pipeworks Brewing (Chicago), especially Blood of the Unicorn Hoppy Red, Hutton & Smith Igneous IPA (Chattanooga, TN), Stone Black IPA (No idea why it was represented at a Montgomery brewfest, but I'm glad it was) and for dessert, Uproot Brewing Big Drip Coffee Vanilla Milk Stout (Birmingham, AL).

A pure whale can replenish his losses between the sofa cushions. That would improve the next day mood. Otherwise your poker society sounds same as it ever was. A ring of rocks playing with a couple degens waiting on the whales.

How is capacity nowadays?

It makes sense to try out the local and quasi-local brews vs the grocery store options; if groceries sell beer down there. There are so many guys trying it out that I haven't even heard of all the breweries in my own city.

My new go to is a hazy 'new england style' called Church Music. They have got it into the local bars but I doubt whether it distributes out of state.

I don't understand the question. My capacity for beer consumption? If so, about 5 pints, unless its a special occasion. If something else, IDK what.

I hear Church Music is a really good hazy juicy, but I hate hazy juicies, so wouldn't be my thing.

LOL at us. Just put the last detergent pod in the dishwasher and pulled out the empty bag to throw it away. It was only at this point that I discovered that we had been washing our dishes with laundry detergent for months.

If DMW dares to enter the 'Slope (Sunnyslope neighborhood in NoCenPhoenix), I highly recommend a delicious Church Music while enjoying Little Miss BBQ brisket or ribs (7th St and Dunlop).

I really enjoy the Shop Beer Co tasting room/production facility in Tempe, also. They do good beerz.

So, sitting in a clinic with the youngest Breeze (the black belt) who took a direct nut shot at a tournament two days ago and still can’t walk without assistance. (Yes, he did have a can on).

He still won grand champion at that tournament. Had 3 fights after the hit. Won them all.

He’s supposed to fly to BC in 11 days for another tournament. Odds doc allows it:

Go: +150
No go: -250
