the snakes have been a huge issue further north where they're more prevalent. they flee the rain and head for dry spots and those dry spots have invariably been in closets, under beds and in sheds.

buddy of mine found two Eastern Browns in the caravan he sleeps in on his farm when he went up to check on the damage a few days ago. he slept in his car instead!

Russell Wilson to Denver.

Good move?

Probably. They had a descent team this past year with a qb that was probably middle of the pack to the lower half of the league. Russell still probably has 3-5 years of elite play left.

Good trade for both sides imo.

Denver should be a playoff team and the Seahawks will bottom out.

If Russ wants another Super Bowl, the far easier path to there is through the NFC.
AFC has: Burrow, Herbert, Mahomes, Allen, Lamar. IF you make the playoffs, you probably have to beat 3 of those 5 to get there. NFC has an aging MVP, Kyler, Jimmy G, Stafford (down year incoming), and a bunch of scrubs.

Saw Feelyland on the news. That is dangerous mate. A zone that will be one of danger.

Nowadays there's only one type of movie you can make at a plantation house.

He is not. Though he is a full professor, which in terms of AF protocol is considered equivalent to a Colonel.

Wife has been test driving electric cars over the past couple of days. Cripes the price tag on those things. Still pretty sure I can convince her to get 5 more years out of her current car before making the inevitable switch.

Meanwhile my day-to-day vehicle is the gas guzzling Yukon (due to needing a tow vehicle for the handful of times we RV each year).

ETA: Still remember when we bought the wife's car in 2013. I had my best poker year, shipping just over $20K in my 1/3 NL game playing lol rec just-for-fun hours, which was pretty much exactly what we paid for the car. Lol, that will never happen again, would be lucky to be able to ship a nice e-bicycle nowadays.

While true, who knows if an NFC team was willing to give up what Seattle wanted. Staying in Seattle wasn’t great for Wilson as their salary cap with him was only leaving like 8 million, granted they also have now cut Wagner, which frees up a another 16 million.

I keep reading articles about the eagles possibly going after Metcalf.

Bottom line on ESPN said something like "Giants expected to make a play for Trubisky".

OK. Go ahead. Take him, he's yours.

Funny, but this is such a down year for QBs coming out of college that I think I could argue that he’s better than any of those. At least you’d know what you’re getting and plan around it.

Finally got the day we were waiting for.

Got up early with the intention of furst chair as we reported 10" over night. Was obviously worried about the scene at a vail resorts ski property for a pow day. got to the parking lot @ 8:10. Its about a 2-3 minute commute from the house. Was happy to see we were right up front. Slapped on the boots and got in the lift line. We were #7. Added bonus they started loading @845.

Was everything we hoped for. Got multiple first trax and it did not become a shitshow till we pulled out after getting our fill.

Still snowing hard and whiteout...possibly more fun and excitement tomorrow
