Went to a live taping of a podcast last night and all I could think about was how strange it all was and try to figure out the finances of it all.

Anyone else do this kind of ****? I always do.

I usually just check it out for the lol's / sammich making strat. Although it becomes less funny / more sad the more I think it might actually be true.

whenever i see a career i am unfamiliar with or don't understand i too spend a lot of time trying to see the underlying dynamics - the general answer is "wow there's a lot of money out there in the ether"

when i was in high school my place of employment (setting up party tents) was trying to quell demands for increased wages by offering a contest to guess what their payroll expenses were the prior month - that was simple enough to estimate and i won whereas some people were so off it was hard to believe they had any fundamental understanding of anything (prize was legit like $200 or something)

but the real thing that exercise drove home to me wasn't how much their monthly nut was but the implication this meant they were doing millions in business each summer and it suddenly made working a 9-5 earning 50k a year genuinely seem like small potatoes for the first time in my life seeing all the money that's literally flowing around if you're willing to step out of your comfort zone and go for it - even if that means setting up tents for people's weddings

Yeah i have clients making bank doing the weirdest ****. I used to think “oh this is an idiotic idea and won’t make any money”.

Now I focus on whether I think the person is capable of executing executing

The plan to get everyone to go to WinStar is working?

It's ten days until Valentine's Day so they are trying to be good husbands?

Also, they have all their gambling money on the Superbowl?

Can't possibly be Omicron in Texas.

Do you mean Texas didn't learn their lesson last year after much of their infrastructure froze over?

I drove through it yesterday with rear wheel drive. That was not fun. 99 miles 5 hours.

If Conor McGregor's uncle Beto's political aspirations weren't buried before this snow storm they most certainly are now.
