so i'm very much into camping and a total nit when it comes to hotels

how reasonable would it be to fly in with a tent and uber to my campsite each day or drive in and tow an a-frame?

but for realskies, is this like a social stigma thing or it's just not practical thing

i can afford hotel/airbnb it's just i legit enjoy camping outside in the desert air and don't plan on spending much time in a hotel anyway should i go

yeah, i've hitchhiked the and camped in the sahara, imagine i can handle vegas

if transportation and access to gym showers would be so inconvenient for poker/social scene then i wouldn't do it but if it's a simple matter then i'm happy to substitute a bed for a sleeping bag

and besides, i can probably tinder my way into some accommodation as well - have actually done that before

I've camped at Lake Mead for (actual) Grateful Dead shows at Sam Boyd Silver Stadium 'back in the day' in my trusty VW bus. Pretty hot in May/June and the sun comes up damned early, too. I would consider Mt Charleston for some elevation related climate control, and hopefully a little more shade.
